Since I'm not one for sugar-coating, I'll be honest and to the point. Distance is not an issue . . . . I'm savvy enough to know that Mr. Right doesn't necessarily live in my zip code. If the connection is strong, details have a way of working out. And who says I have to live here forever?So I'm certain you're wondering if this Colorado gal hikes? Yes, but not if it requires lugging 50 lbs. on my back. Do I ski? Not anymore. I watch and wait by the fire and/or hot tub with a glass of wine in hand. Do I camp? My idea of camping is room service at the Hyatt or a fully equipped RV . Do I climb 14'er's? In these shoes?? Do I fish? Yes, if it's deep sea or dockside on a lake AND, I bait my own hook. Do I hunt? Only for treasures in antique, thrift and junk stores (original American Picker). And I'll watch Duck Dynasty but camo doesn't look good on me. Sports? Yep, I watch . . . mostly football. Put me on a bicycle and I can ride for miles. Love to do anything that involves water including zipping across the waves in a speed boat or pontoon. Gardening is a joy and ONLY my thumb is green. I do know how to use power tools and have a keen decorating sense (couldn't live without duct tape). Enjoys a glass or box of wine (prefer red). Music is always playing (definitely a rocker at heart) and discovering new artists. Love the beach! Contrary to what you're thinking, I’m not high maintenance. I just know who I am, know what I want and won't settle for less. I'm also more than willing to participate in doing the things you like to do (other than bungee jumping or snake hunting). Would like to try zip-lining, taking a hot-air balloon ride or snowmobiling (which I can't believe I've never done!) I’m fiercely independent but definitely have plenty of room in my heart (not so much my closet) for that perfect partner who is confident (will wear that pink shirt), independent (doesn’t need me ***, witty and doesn't sweat the small stuff, caring and giving (your mother taught you well), 5' 11" or taller (I’m tall and like wearing high heels), enjoys adventure and spontaneity and wants to sweep me off my feet in 6 seconds or less. Love the look of a clean-shaven man. Hung up on the age thing? Here's my take . . . if you're over 50, who cares. It's just a number and technically, mine is "unlisted". It's all about how you act, feel, compatibility and how many meds you're taking (none for me!) Disclaimer: my age posted here is off by just a couple of years.If you’re a mugger, pervert, thief, redneck, stalker, scammer (I can spot you in a NY second!), ex-con, real-life clown or knucklehead (might be some wiggle room on that ***please do not apply.And you MUST have a pic or two . . . . staring at the webcam or arm-length selfies don't count.Hmmm, I'm game for about anything except bowling, square dancing, watching paint dry or doing shots of Jagermeister. Seriously, great conversation mixed with a spark or two of good chemistry works very well. And a perfect glass of wine. On the beach. Or Carrabba's.
