I think options for a first date is based on the personality of the people going out. It could be something fun like go-cart racing, laser tag or mini golf. Or it could be something like a wine tasting or microbrewery tour or even as simple as just grabbing a cup of coffee or a beer. I don't think a movie on a first date is a good idea - I mean how can you get to know someone if you have to be quiet for 2 hours???

HI, Thanks for taking the time to read this! I've 4 kids in which I essentially raise alone. I run a restaurant full time. I've a lot of responsibility and the little bit of time that I can carve out for myself is difficult. I'd like to spend that time laughing with someone and having a great time! I'm a happy person and I'm not into material things. I am a clean freak (not a germophobe), but I do like to be organized. I'm down to earth and I enjoy almost anything. I'm not a big drinker, so a pub or a bar wouldn't be a good spot. A crowded restaurant wouldn't be ideal either. and walk around and talk while eating a hot dog or something! It's about getting to know each other. I'm not into material things. I'm more interested in if we make each other happy or not.
