I always said I would never try online dating, but I'm also not a person who likes to judge something without ever even giving it a chance, so here we go.. I love helping others, am very passionate on a number of different social issues and try to live my life in a way that leaves me proud of who am I and who I'm becoming. In general I'm a very positive person and I like to surround myself with people who are the same, I don't have much patience for those who try to bring others down so if you're not bringing something positive to the table I'm perfectly fine on my own. I'm very active, social, and love the outdoors so weekends you'll usually find me out hiking, enjoying the beach, spending time with friends, live music shows, poetry slams... I really just enjoy getting out and seeing what this place has to offer but I never feel like there's enough time to do it all so I know there's still a lot to be discovered.My two passions career wise are health fitness and working with kids, and while I've worked with both at this point my dream is to start working towards becoming a health and wellness coach. I love music, dancing, extreme sports, going out as well as movie nights at home, cooking, talking and connecting with others, roller coasters, cheesy inspirational quotes, cuddling, laughter, hiking.. the list could go on forever.And as for what I'm hoping to find on here I guess Id just have to say that at this point in my life I know myself extremely well; meaning I know what I'm looking for, what works for me, what doesn't.. etc. and although I'm perfectly fine staying single I would really like to find someone thats truly compatible with me. I'm definitely a one guy type of girl and always have been, so although I respect whatever people are here for, If you're just looking for a fling or someone to entertain you, your energy is better spent someplace else.I guess what I'm really looking for is someone whose emotionally mature and who really knows what he wants in a woman and is ready and trying to find that. I really value people who are genuine, honest, trustworthy, and can communicate openly and are confident in their own emotions. And while I do have a list of things Id like to see in a potential partner, when it gets down to it I really just want someone who treats other people the way he'd like to be treated and someone I can be proud of even when my back is turned.If this sounds like the person you are then I'd love to hear from you, but if this isn't you then please don't try to contact me with the hopes that you can trick me into not noticing.. lol. Life is way to short to go running around hiding who you are and the truth always comes out in the end so I'd just as rather hear an honest portrayal of who you are in the beginning than look back feeling like I wasted time on someone who wasn't what I thought he was.For that reason I come as I am.. an open book, flaws and all.. and if that's the way you operate too I hope to hear from you soon :)

Well... Where do I start with these things... I have tried the online dating thing before and it never worked out in the past so I thought I would give this one more shot. I just always found I was meeting guys who didn't want the same things as me and just didn't take this online dating seriously.... After a long day of work I just want to have that special someone to come home too and just talk about how our days went My friends and family would describe me as loyal, genuine and honest. I have a very energetic personality and always like to ensure that me and the people around me are having fun and enjoying life. Friends and family mean the world to me, I come from a small family so we are all very close and I would bend over backwards to do anything for anyone in my life. I am an open and honest person and I always tell it how it is, I will not sugar coat anything. I always believe that when in a relationship it is extremely important to always speak what's on your mind and not to hide in anything especially feelings. I am a strong independent woman, I am not one of those women who needs a man in her life to make me happy. I don't want to just settle for anyone just to be in a relationship I want to ensure he's the right one. I have found who I am as a person emotionally and ready to meet someone amazing In my life I have had many goals and aspirations some of which I have accomplished now there's just one missing piece of the puzzle and that's someone special to spend my time with and see what can happen with us. There's nothing better then after a day of work coming home to someone and making a nice home cooked meal and then curling up on the couch just chatting or watching a movie. I would much rather have a home cooked meal then go out for dinner however, there is nothing wrong with a date night once in a while :) I want to meet someone special who has the same family values, goals and aspirations as I do. I am looking to settle down in my life and hopefully it's with the one for me An idea first date would be either a nice walk by the water with some coffee to keep us warm or going out for a drink and just getting to know each other some more
