About Me

I'm a real live person, Jon, not bigfoot. I'm really in Happy Camp. Although I'd like to marry, someday, I'm doubtful I'll find a partner through meetville. Surely I can make new friends though? I'll admit to feeling ridiculous using this service at all. But I have nothing to lose and friends to gain. I've been here less than a year, and think I will stay. The few friends I have here are wonderful. I have a colorful history of living in rural Pennsylvania ***years), rural Oregon (6 years), San Francisco/Berkeley/Oakland ***years), India (2 years), rural so-cal (3 years), and now Happy Camp. I'm a generalist with experience in rough carpentry, finish carpentry, plumbing, electrical, solar electric, gardening, cooking & baking, ale brewing, bicycle repair, website design, community volunteer work, and many other things. I'm an avid reader and researcher and learner and teacher. I set up a website for the communities on highway 96 called Klamath River Exchange (the96.org) as a free way for folks to post events and classifieds and business listings. Fresh local food makes me happy. I assume meth and Fox News about equally damaging to intelligence. If you indulge in either, we'll probably not make great friends. I think the "Brands" section on here is strange... I am not my purchases. I don't watch television. Do real people use this? I'm afraid it's all a scam.
