I was a Chief in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman with the Marines. I was a Navy Medical *** am now retired from the Reserves. I enjoy fishing and college football. Hello ladies! And thank you for taking the time to peruse my profile. I am once again dipping my toe in the water again per this on-line venue with the hopes of dating of which I hope will progress to some semblance of a meaningful relationship. I would like to meet someone such as myself; i.e. physical attractive, possessing emotional/psychological/mental traits such as having strong character, not lacking in self confidence or esteem, honest, responsible, and are emotionally secure. Certainly someone who has a sense of humor and can handle a little bit of N.Y. sarcasm on occasion would be extremely refreshing as well, but would of course consider that a bonus. Oh yea, no problem with having a little bit of baggage, (Yes, everybody's got a past and who's current life is not absolutely perfect) but if you have the entire Samsonite "baggage" collection, meaning from the overseas trunk right down to the tiny/little cosmetic purse than I do believe we would not be a very good fit. Yes, there has to be an initial physical attraction (Relax, I'm not shallow, just being honest here) but do believe the strongest attraction for me comes from the emotional/psychological aspect. Personality is incredibly important to me, more important than the mere physical attraction, but as the typical neanderthal "visual" male that I am, I have to have that initial physical spark before I can progress. Hey, Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise I am not...but then again I'm not too hard to look at either. Yep, I'm as real as it gets...and if you have any reservation about a guy who wears his integrity and emotions on his sleeve, then perhaps we would not be such a good fit. I am all about mutual respect...so, it would go without saying I have extremely limited patience with negative people and believe deeply you need other folks to grow in every aspect of your life. So, having said that, I would be more than delighted for anyone who has taken the time and read the above, and of course found interest, to send me a message letting me know.
