*Just thought I'd bring this up to save your time and mines. I will not respond to one or two line messages. Make an effort. Time is of essence, It shouldn't be wasted, we don't have a lot left. Also the fact my first language isn't English but American Sign Language. I can hear and speak very well however I do have several Deaf family members* It's been nearly a year since I've gotten off a relationship and only relationship of 3 years. I reached the point where I want to start looking again for that special someone to share & journey life with. I got back into school a while back, now a senior majoring in Political science and international studies with concentration on European studies and a few undeclared minors. I enjoy traveling, I been to approximately a little more than half the states in North America, lived in nine states and numerous cities throughout my life. I'm a guy that takes nothing for granted and appreciates the little things in life. I love everything outdoors as well as indoors. I'm willing to try and explore new things such as skydiving. Besides being adventurous I can be a homebody and have a lazy day, kicking back to watch a movie or two. My taste in movies and music varies. I listen to classical to a bit of rap. It all depends on what I'm doing. As for movies, mostly watch action/adventure , sci fi/fantasy and comedy, anything with a good story to it. Oh I do watch a few romance movies, not afraid to admit. I'm big on anything produced in the 80's or 90's, not too much into the modern stuff. A small sample; A few oldies; I'm known to be a easy going person, a good listener, loyal, supportive, make time for others, enjoys making people laugh even at my expense. I like to bring up, I'm not really a heavy drinker. There will be a few occasions here and there where I would drink, I'd rather drink alcohol that contains flavor rather than watered down beer. I know what I want to do in life and have plans on making it a reality. Honestly it all depends on the comfort zone but typically I think for a first date it should be something along lines of meeting in a public place, talk a bit to get to know one another. If all goes well, do some activity maybe like putt putting where can still talk. If the day/night ends well and there is continued interest, I'd make it interesting the next time out.

I enjoy doing stuff, and things... I'm somewhat of a renaissance man in that way. I spent the next day wrestling sharks, and on Sunday I get rescued... by myself... and resumed my faithful duties as a superhero. ;-)I started a business 3 years ago; best decision of my life. I love my career. I love my friends. I spend a lot of time with both. I work from home, however, which makes meeting new people in a non-professional environment rather cumbersome. I'm pretty mellow- I enjoy other people's company, and am incredibly easy to get along with. I'm a big proponent of setting and attaining goals, and fully support those I care about in doing so. I'm also considered a gentlemen... respect and dignity, ladies.Yes, I love both kids and animals. Regardless of my sometimes sarcastic sense of humor, the 5 attributes I value most about myself are as follows: honest, mature, giving, loving, intelligent. First date... Coffee, ice cream, lunch, people-watching, a hike, a festival, a picnic, a walk around downtown with a cup of froyo or an ice cream cone... You want creative? Private morning hot air balloon ride, dropping off in a field where horses await, taking us to a picnic spot overlooking our beautiful state, complete with cheese, crackers, Wine, and live music. No, I wouldn't do that for a first date online... how profoundly weird would that be?! "Nice to meet you... now get in my balloon." Maybe after we meet and we both decide you are amazing enough for me to go to that kind of effort, I will... to amaze you.

First of all, I'm sorry I couldn't get my shirt off for my profile pic.. Sometimes I can get it myself but usually I need a couple people.. :-; I like staying in shape, being outside, trying new restaurants, traveling (of course), and really just challenging myself in every way.I don't have a defined picture of what I'm looking for in a person, but I love to explore, and if you've ever thought of being self-employed, traveling the world and living out of a backpack, we should probably talk. I also work out every day and eat right, so that's important.. Lastly, I don't care what intellectual gifts you've been given, as long as they're there and you use them. :)
