UPDATE. Yay I finished college. I am a graduate now. Just started a new career also. I have reached a time in my life.. Yes, I just turned the big 50.. and I think its awesome. So that being said, I plan on taking on a whole bunch of new things, new career in the works, finishing the book I have been writing, learning new hobbies like cake decorating.. Another new venture in my life SCHOOL.. At 50 I decided to go back to college and get a diploma. Its my present to myself. And I am loving it. Carry these traits with you and you are already a winner. Basically I want to find that person who will be my equal half, not my better half, and definitely not my other half. My equal half. He will know what turns me on, and what turns me off. (not talking about anything sexual either). He will come home from a hard day at work, and find a cute surprise, maybe I was at the store and picked up his favourite chocolate bar, put a ribbon on it, and a note that says, JUST CUZ YOU ARE SWEET. You needn't be vocal about your love of people and the earth. You just need to have it. It's important to me that your political views lean more to the left. I work-out because I have bad knees. I don't have a drop dead gorgeous body. I work-out so I can do the things I enjoy and not kill myself. I like to relax. I'm pretty laid back and so not high energy. I simply like to do a lot of different things. This doesn't mean I have an insurmountable amount of energy. In fact I need my down time. I'm not always good at communicating my feelings but I think it a very important part of keeping a relationship healthy. I like discussion. But I don't think we need to fill all the silence with words either. We all deserve respect and kindness.
