Winnipeg born and raised. Live (with roommates) and work in the city.Love going to see live music and dancing. I have a fantastic group of friends I'm out with often. A bit of a book worm, totally addicted to Kobo and usually read at least ***books a week.I make my own wine.I'm in the insurance industry and highly doubt I'll ever leave it. Very boring job but I just happen to be very good at it. :) I love to bake and I have my own recipe for chocolate chip and peanut butter chip cookies and banana bread. They are pretty fantastic!I'm would not consider myself very adventurous or outdoorsy, unless you consider patios with cold beer or lazing in the sun be being outdoorsy.I chose beach bum as my 'one word that discribes you'... there are really like 10 words in that list I could have used.Fair warning: I have recently learned that tattoos and/or scars on a woman can be a deal breaker for some men. I have 3 tattoos and will get more and I have a few scars (surgery) including one on my left cheek. Not looking for causal encounters so please don't message me for that.NOTE: allergic to cats. Anywhere we can speak without having to yell at each other. Coffee, drinks, bowling if you want some entertainment while we chat (I suck at any and all sports so you'll get a good laugh out of it).

Loving being a work in progress. I love to journal, draw, learn. Pretty passionate reader. I like Burroughs and Ginsberg, Murakami, Eggers and Foer and I think that Hunter S. I can be a movie snob, but get annoyed at pretentious tastes. I'm post married-too-young syndrome, so I am still learning a lot about myself and what I like to do. So far, rafting was a big success and guitar is a blast, even though I don't seem to be getting any better at it. I am a passionate cook. Experimenting a lot lately with Indian and Lebanese foods. I'm kinda getting into hiking. I was much fatter when I was married and still working on that, so fitness is becoming a priority, but I am not coordinated enough to make it an obsession. I'm learning to sew, and speak Russian, and I'd like to get to the top of a mountain in ***. I am also learning to tattoo under the guidance of someone much more naturally gifted than me...and luckily what happens there is between me and my poor thighs.I love road trips. Travel is the only real thing on my "bucket list". Autumn is my favorite season. I often think about expatriating. I like more music than I can begin to talk about, but I am easily confused by genre speak. (We were all 18 once). My kids are amazing. They are better than the Beatles on vinyl. I might want more one day, but in the meantime, I'm very happy with what I have. I'm here to explore and see how it goes. So far, it's at least made me smile. :)
