I have a civil relationship with my ex and I lead a pretty laid back life. Making more stress and strife for myself would just sap me of energy I need for other things. If you have no pets that's fine. It is better that someone doesn't have pets because they could not or would not take on the responsibility than have them and not take care of them..... just like kids. If you have made it this far, coffee, ice cream or a couple of drinks at a semi-quiet or relaxed location would probably be best. If you make me laugh like crazy and are smart it doesn't matter what or where the date is.
