Laugh and stride and go wherever the path takes us. Acknowledge the chemistry, but secretly tell ourselves that the signals from the other are a figment of our respective imaginations. Go home, giddy and satisfied, to text each other back and forth and fill in the blanks until our next meeting. Date two, we smile, we blush, we trip over our words.
