i would describe myself as alittle old-fashioned/a little new-wave. i like having the door opened for me but in return i will open the door for others. i enjoy a variety of differnet things as you read in my interests..and i'm not afraid to try new adventures.i enjoy cuddling on the couch watching a good movie--or a hockey game. don't forget the popcorn! during the spring-fall i spend alot of time fishing and walking when the weather is nice. i like riding as a passenger on the back of a motorcycle. (i would like to get my own one day). i also like to take several trips to the local deer farm. especially to watch the growth of the fawns. as you saw in my photos, i do enjoy taking nature pictures. im in no way a professional photographer but i do enjoy it. i especially like waterfalls, sunsets, sunrises and wildlife pictures.camping (and just campfires) are high on my list of relaxation remedies. i can camp in a tent-which is what i have. or rent a cabin/yurt. one of my vacation weeks each summer is normally a camping/fishing/NASCAR trip to dover, de. my music choices start with classic country, country, 60's & 70's and anything that has a good beat that we can dance to. it's a real bonus if you know how to two-step! i do like to go out occasionally and have a drink or two; do some dancing; maybe shoot a few games of pool and sing some songs on kareoke nights. i belong to the moose club and the vfw and that's where i do most of my socializing.i work as a cook. right now im working a full time job i have one son who's grown and lives in utah. i'm not interested in having any more children of my own but i do like kids. i must warn you that i do have a dry/sarcastic sense of humor. i try to make lite of most situations. i'm hoping to be connected with a true honest man who will be my friend first and foremost-hopefully my soulmate-and then become the love of my life. i would like someone to grow old with...you know-still holding hands at 90 and sitting on the front porch swing-snuggling and kissing like teenagers!a nice walk (weather permitting) with good coversation. maybe a lite lunch or dinner. if everything is going well a few games of pool or some dancing would be nice.

    Hello! Like most people, I hate writing about myself but here goes! I grew up in Wyoming and have lived in Vegas since ***. I've never been married and have no kids. I'm very open to my partner having kids though. I have a tendency to be independent and able to take care of myself - years of being single does that to a girl. :) That being said, I want a man who can be my backup and soft spot to fall. I speak my mind, but am kind and compassionate toward those I care about. I love doing things with friends and family and would like to have a partner who wants to join me - I'm kind of tired of being the third wheel at these functions! BBQing, firepits, movies, game nights, football games..... I go to Disneyland a lot - having a partner who would go with me on occasion would be awesome! Believe it or not, it is quite a different experience without kids. I also volunteer for a Shar-Pei rescue - it has been very rewarding for me. I enjoy cooking (especially when it's for more than just me) and sitting outside enjoying a beer or glass of wine. I work out ***days a week and try to keep it healthy. I'm currently training for my first half marathon in September. Staying fit is important to me. So, here is what I would ultimately like to find. A man who is secure in who he is - does the right thing and doesn't think twice about it. Is caring and compassionate toward others in a genuine way - not just because it might make him look good. Having a great sense of humor and being able to let loose and goof around is important to me- life is about having fun! Having some level of physical attraction is necessary, but so much plays into that for me. A great smile that is reflected in your eyes about does me in! I am confident in my physical appearance and secure enough to accept my flaws. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder they say....I believe beauty is more than skin deep. I want to meet a man who can look beneath the exterior and be interested in getting to know the real me inside. I love family storys , but driving over the skyway bridge scares the hell out of me. And I love people watching, yet seem to have a hard time with eye-contact. (though I have been "caught" staring at my date once or twice *wink*)...Most importantly, I am a Mother of four sons; two out of the home and two still at home. My sons are 11 and 17 and I have 7, yes I said 7 grandkids! If you don't like young kids then I am probably not for you. So lets see who's out there, courageous/adventurous enough to give a great thing a chance...
