About Me

How do you say in a few paragraphs what you want, need and must have in someone special? How do you take 50 years worth of life and experience and narrow it to a few paragraphs in hopes that the right person reads it and is intrigued? I am content with my life and ready to start a new chapter. I am not lonely alone but do not want to grow old alone either and am ready to start a new book of memories. I have three wonderful children and two beautiful grandchildren and they are the light of my life. I have a great career, love what I do and due to owning my own business, I have flexibility to enjoy life!I believe in God and am looking for someone else who does as well and who will go to church and grow in faith with me.I don't kid myself into believing anyone out there is perfect - if I can't offer it, I certainly can't expect it. I can tell you that I am honest to a fault, committed and loyal to those I love. I am strong and independent and not looking for someone to take care of me. Spoil me? Absolutely - but there is no high maintenance here. I am an extremely sincere, tell it like it is (or at least the way I see it), honest, outgoing and totally fun person. I am profoundly loyal to and treasure my friends and family. I can have a good time screaming my head off at a sporting event or in evening wear at a black tie event, riding on the back or driving a 4 wheeler in the mud or tromping through the woods to a private creek or lake to fish, hike or camp. I can very quickly move from one to the other without spending hours in front of the mirror can hold my own at any business or social function. I love Alabama football,(SEC Football***tailgating or home grilling out with friends. I love a good red wine and an amazing thunderstorm - especially under a tin roof. I like beaches and the mountains, spontaneous and romantic moments to remember, traveling to new and different places a book that will keep me guessing, a movie that will make me cry. I love to dance and particularly with a partner that does has well. Can you lead? It would be fun to take dance lessons together!I love and treasure relationships I have with my friends and family and enjoy about any activity you can throw at me. If I haven't already done it and love it, I am willing to try new things.What do I look for? HONESTY - Honesty about who you are, where you have been and what you want out of life. No games - if you are a player - say you are- doesn't mean we can't be great friends. If you are not looking for a relationship (at least eventually), I am probably not your girl. I don't mean the first date has to be an all or nothing but, if you are not looking for someone special for a long term relationship and eventually marriage, then again, I am not your girl.The man I am looking for will be strong in his beliefs and spirituality and will know which side of the fence he is on and not afraid to defend it. However, he will not be so sure of it that no one else’s thoughts or opinions matter and while he may disagree he will also respect that we don't all see things eye to eye. I want someone that understands that relationships are not perfect and we do have to work at that and sometimes that means compromise. I am very easy to get along with and seldom meet someone that I can't find some connection with. I enjoy the company of a man who is sincere, secure, ambitious and happy with an adventuresome and playful spirit; someone who can laugh with /at me and himself. Someone who enjoys life and wants to experience as many new things as life can offer. He will be honest, intellectual and spontaneous and will be driven by his passions and eager to be successful in life and love. He will be looking for true love and not out to date as many people as he can. If it is right between us, commitment thoughts will not scare him away. If it is not -he will be as honest as I will be about it and hopefully we will have both gained a new friend.I communicate more easily if you have pictures and most likely will not *** you mark me as a favorite and never say hello, I am confused by that!
