““To be or not to be,” has never quite been the question for me. I’m more fond of, “Let’s put it off and see what happens.” Yeah, I like that. It just struck me how that one statement pretty much sums up my theory on life. Okay, my theory on my life. No “to be”ing here. I just am. Let’s face it, I’m a 41 year old stubborn woman. I ain’t changing now! There was a point to this but I’ve somehow misplaced it. No, wait, me! My life. I will begin by letting you know nothing extremely exciting has ever happened to me. So why am I writing about it? Oh, dear one, excitement is over rated. Unique and weird is much more entertaining! I do admit though, it’s taken me all of my 41 years to appreciate my quirkiness and embrace my weirdness. If you are a little off, you might as well take comfort in that fact and find enjoyment in every odd look people give you. I tell my friends I prefer to bottle up my emotions. Save them for a rainy day. It’s much healthier that way. I refuse to watch depressing movies, read sad books or even sit and listen to someone telling me a story that doesn’t end with, “and they lived happily ever after.” Fine, I’m not that bad. I will sit and listen to someone’s depressing stories but I won’t cry with you. :) Yeah, maybe one tear. Don't push it. :) Oh! Take me fishing and I'm yours for life!Oh silly men, you know what we want. Simply go the extra mile and make us happy. :) Fine, the first date we could meet informally for coffee. Bleck. Hate those, but most of you feel it's necessary. It just seems so non-committal to me. I mean if I have talked to someone for a little while and have determined I like them enough to meet them then why not go for it. Do a nice dinner and moonlit walk. Nix the walk if it's the summer. This chick is not into mosquitos. :)

Woman. 31 years old. Zodiac sign: Sagittarius.
Looking for: man. In age: 21-41
Spend my free time catching movies, hanging out at my parents ranch, or checking out new places and events with my friends. Currently training for the Austin Half Marathon and getting back into CrossFit. I am always looking for ways to give back to the community. In the past I have taught art classes at Laguna Gloria, balloon wrangled for the Children Giving to Children parade, and helped raise money for the ballet.Working on starting my own event management business. At this time I also work a couple other jobs to support my goal. This leaves me with little extra time but I am willing to make the right person a priority. I enjoy life and strive to keep a positive outlook and have been blessed to be surrounded by friends and family who feel the same. What I am looking for: A man that sees the adventure in life and works to maintain a dynamic life. They are open to change and growth within themselves and their partner. Someone who enjoys being active- this is a big focus for me recently and I would appreciate the extra support (introduce me to a new activity or be open to active dates). They would be a bit of a social butterfly- comfortable in group situations and enjoy checking out all our great city has to offer. A man that enjoys art and culture as well as sports would be icing on the cake.Trying out a new concert venue or coffee house. Perhaps even trying out a new activity. Volunteering together is also a great way to spend an afternoon.

Looking for: man. In age: 45-65
What you see is what you get, oh and I was 60 on 23 July, not 55. I have no airs and graces, don't take life too seriously (only when I have to), have good sense of humour and like a good laugh. I am caring, affectionate, sociable, like making new friends, walking in the countryside, going on holiday, weekends away, dancing, nights in and out, most types of music. I am looking for a like-minded person, for dating and possible long-term relationship. If you think we have something in common, please *** no pic, no reply.Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away :-)The woman came from a man’s rib - not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal, under the arm to be protected and next to the heart to be loved.Meet for a drink/coffee and a chat to see if we have a spark.
