Do men not do dates anymore? It seems all men want to do is invite women to their place to "watch a movie," which we all know is code for sex. I don't need a fancy date or anything...even coffee is nice. Or a walk. Is that too much to ask for? Also, men if you do have a date and are meeting a woman for the first time, change out of your sweats! make a little effort! Dating SUCKS! I wish I could find someone fun and chill to explore the area with. Seems impossible though :( I moved to Gig Harbor in ***, after deciding that life is to short to have a career you don't love. So I quit my job and moved out here to purse my goal of becoming a Physician Assistant. I was accepted to PA school and will be moving to Seattle by the middle of June ***. I already have a Bachelors, Masters, and am an EMT. I love to volunteer and spend time with family and friends. I am compassionate, dedicated, honest, open minded, responsible, outgoing, easy going, and always there for my family and friends. If you are important to me I will do everything I can to help you out. Boating, Jetsking, traveling, and concerts are my favorite things to do. I truly believe that life is a gift and it goes by way to fast. So live it well and make sure the people you care about know how important they are to you. Have you ever seen the movie "The Timer?" A little weird but I wish it was real life. In the movie people have the choice to get a timer imprinted on their body. The timer is a countdown to when they will meet "The One." I wish I had a timer. I am sooooo over the dating scene. I mean, dating is for figuring out what you want and don't want in a partner. Well, at this point in my life, I know what I want. So why can't I just find it already.I believe your most attractive features are your heart and soul...I believe that family is worth more than money or gold...I believe in Karma, what you give is what you get returned...I believe you can't appreciate real life until you've been burned...I believe the grass is no more greener on the other side...I believe... that you don't know what you've got until you say goodbye. (bonus points if you can tell me where this quote is from.)I am looking for a professional, mature, driven, family oriented, honest, faithful, fun loving guy. I want to get married and have a family someday. My biggest goals for my life are to be a wife, a mother, and to make a difference in the world (even if it is just a small one.) I am not looking to marry the first man I meet however. I am very independent and am fine on my own. I do not NEED a man, but it would sure be nice to have one, lol.     I am looking for the love of my life. The person I want to have next to me when I go to sleep at night and the same person I see when I open my eyes in the morning. My kids are grown with families of their own, but it would be nice to find someone who can fit into my family, although some of the members that claim the same lineage, I have questions about. I have traveled quite a bit in my life. I have been all over the United States and traveled through England, Scotland, Canada ( from Montreal to Victoria), and Mexico near Panama, and worked in Taipei, Taiwan for 7 months on a show called, Buffalo Bill's Wild West Stunt Show. I would still like to visit France and Italy and hike the Great Wall of China. I've already hiked a 26 mile trail at the Grand Canyon. So I like hiking ( although I am not an extreme hiker nor belong to the Sierra Club), camping, horseback riding, enjoy going to Dodger games, sight seeing or day trips, and outdoor markets.... I like just about anything outdoors except laying out at the beach just to get a tan. That just is not for me. On this site I am still hoping to find Mr. Right *** Mr. Right Now. So if you are active and like to do things and spend time enjoying life, contact me. I am here. PS Pictures are pictures, but if you do not show any expression or smile in your picture.....why should I show interest? What I mean ....are you basically happy or should I guess? For example... you look at my pictures...I am happy and I'm not happy, but I am happy. Yet, I could be happier.Meet at a quaint restaurant. Talk and get to know each other. Hopefully and finally be with the person with who I want to spend the rest of my life with. ...someone with whom the minutes turn into hours, yet neither one of us be aware that the time has passed. I want someone as serious as I am in having someone and being with someone for the rest of our lives. I want to have fun with and feel safe in knowing that there is a chance the man I am dating wants me in his life forever, too.
