A bit about me:-I'm both creative and athletic (weird mix I'm told).-I'm very physically active - I play ice hockey, run, cycle, hike, rollerblade, play tennis, walk, and go to the gym regularly. -I studied art and have a fine arts degree. I've had some art shows in the city but it's not something I do as often as I used to. -I was born and raised in downtown Toronto and I live and work in the downtown.-I'm petite...or short....anyway you look at it if you like tall women you won't be interested in me.-I love to wander around the city exploring neighborhoods. Actually I really love to walk a lot. Can walk for hours!-I'm a city girl, but I love to head out to the country for a hike, bike ride, exploring a small town, or just a long drive. -Some favorite movies are - Blood Simple, The Godfather, The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, Magnolia, Dead Man, Down By Law, Taxi Driver, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, Boogie Nights, Grande Budapest Hotel, so many more.-I just love music especially listening to new alternative bands (and some old ones). The list here is endless but for a small list - BOWIE, Radiohead, M83, Arcade Fire, Death From Above, The Black Keys, etc..- For TV- Orange Is the New Black, Broad City, Game of Thrones, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, etc. Love doing tv marathons.- I love animals but don't have any at the moment.. I live and work downtown so I would prefer dating someone who is also downtown. I walk a lot and especially love exploring neighborhoods. I'm very urban but not much into the club scene, although I do love all that Toronto has to offer. Fitness is very important to me. I have my Personal Trainers Certification and train people as a little side job. So I'm regularly up early at the gym either training someone or working out. If you are not active at all it probably won't work. I'm also typically an early to bed early to rise kind of person. I do make exceptions to this from time to time...I'm not always that boring really :) I tend to be attracted to people who are smart without being arrogant, athletic/active without being a jock, and creative without being pretentious. I know a lot of artists through my job and school and I'm very comfortable around people who think outside the box. This doesn't mean you need to be an artist. I'm looking for someone I can share interests with but also learn some new things from. And someone I can be active with. You don't mind when my tomboy side comes out and you still find it sexy. If you enjoy stimulating conversation and are interested in the possibility of developing something special through the process of getting to know each other then I'd like to hear from you. Obviously there are some physical attributes that lead to chemistry and attraction, but the most important one for me is someone with intelligence and a good heart. If those two qualities are lacking I will not find someone attractive. And if you can make me laugh then the potential is unlimited. Looking for a true partner...love, fun, my best friend. I have a couple of deal breakers: If you're racist, homophobic, a religious fanatic, or not active in any way shape or form, then please don't messege me. p.s. I'm adventurous, honest, calm, romantic, and fun. I take calculated risks. I truly believe everything happens for a reason although we may not know it at the time. And the corollary to that is: Everything always works out exactly the way it's supposed to, but I believe you have to make things happen. You can't sit around and wait for things to happen.I lived in Barbados for three years and loved it. I love the Caribbean and would consider living there again. I've been to only about seven of the Caribbean islands so there might be others. Plus there's the islands of the Pacific that are beautiful too. Island life is a most relaxing lifestyle, a much slower pace. It's wonderful! I'd like to go on a cruise some day to visit more islands. I love being near the ocean. One of my favorite things is reading a good book while relaxing at the beach. The past is the past. Time to make a future with someone new. Life is so much better shared with someone special . Here's the usual stuff: I like the same things as most, but I'm probably more open-minded than most. I would love to live near enough to a beach to read and sunbathe every afternoon (in my dreams -- I know!) and that's why I'm back in Florida. After being back in Ohio for about six months, I remember why I left there ten years ago. I enjoy listening to most types of music. I love reggae, jazz, blues, classical, folk, and world -- pretty much all types of music except rap (which really isn't music in my opinion) and most country. I prefer live music and could even be persuaded to listen to a type of music I wouldn't normally listen to as long as it's a live performance. I enjoy dancing, going out to the movies, and going out to dinner, but I also love preparing a sumptuous feast for my king at home (I'm an excellent cook) and then snuggling up on the couch to watch a movie. I enjoy travel, fairs, parks, roller coasters -- actually, most anything as long as it's not dangerous or illegal. I enjoy trying different wines, but my beverage of choice at the beach is rum and Diet Coke. I enjoy long walks on the beach, especially at sunset, holding hands, passionate kisses, flowers for no reason, romance, etc. I think we all agree that the beach is a very romantic place.Ultimately, I believe the best relationships initially start as friendship and then grow into a deeper, enduring love; however, I won't discount the possibility of "love at first sight." I'm hoping to find a like-minded guy for friendship and dating and see where it leads. P.S. Sorry about the lack of pictures.
