I think of myself as a real woman, a bit old fashioned in the good ways, but modern enough to be lots of fun. The old fashioned part is truly loving taking care of my family. The modern part being, I have a great job, I'm smart, independent enough, but not so much I don't need a man, have a house, and have nice things. I have so much to offer, and have such a great life, a good man would simply compliment it. I'm originally from Boston, but have been down here for 18 years, so I have lost the funny accent. I have been divorced 9 years and have a 11 year old daughter. I don't have any one particular hobby, but enjoy doing just about anything. I love trying new things, and love to learn things I don't know anything about. I'm a sports fan by default, and love to watch my teams.A perfect man for me would have to have a great sense of humor. I'm laid back, and you should be too. I don't stress about much, because life is too short, and I prefer to be happy. I'm not a perfectionist, and you shouldn't be either. I don't like the term date, because we don't know each other, and that word seems to imply a certain order of events. I like to meet out somewhere casual, where we can have conversation and get to know one another. If all that goes well, then the first date is appropriate. I'm all about fun and romance, so there's not just one thing that I like to do on a date. It's all about the person your with that makes a date successful.

I'm an optimist, and I feel what we give out comes back to us. I feel we are responsible for our lives and need to make our community and the world a better place.
