I strive to be a positive, spiritual, and healthy person. I believe that underneath it all, our essence is pure love. I am filled with love and affection and I am looking for someone who feels the same. Not a day goes by that I don't feel grateful for my life. I'm a pretty easy-going and down to earth person. This essay is serious but I can be goofy too, with the right chemistry. I recently started my own practice as a therapist which I LOVE, both the work and the business side of things. I'm originally from Long Island, NY, but have lived in many places--Boston, Paris, LA, and Chicago. Now I'm pretty much settled in Columbus. I like it but I would like it better if shared. I LOVE to hike, swing dance, go to the theater, read contemporary fiction, try new restaurants, and travel (abroad and in the US). My boys are very important to me but finding love is a definite priority too! I love anything involving nature, good food, and good conversation. I am spiritual in a non-religious way. Think about what you want with optimism and enthusiasm and it will come!!!My match is like me--together, stable, easy-going, fun-loving, and friendly. He can express himself and be romantic. He loves animals, nature, and children. He likes to be physically active and eats healthy most (but not all) of the time--gotta have room for dessert! His career is very important to him but he's also at the point in his life where a relationship is important too. I want him to be smart, thoughtful, funny and/or goofy, and a nurturer. I don't mind either way if he has kids, but it would be great if he understood the challenges of being a parent. I no longer have animals. A life changing even happened that would not allow me time to care for them. My kids are no longer in high school they are in college. My youngest just finished her first year. My youngest boy had major health issues for a few years and lost his leg to cancer. That would be the life changing event. My youngest two are still at home and it looks like it will stay that way for a while. They have an awesome teacher and life and friends at the college. Every thing else is the same :) I don't like that you can only pick ONE word for personality LOL Right now Homebody is good.
