Me? spiritual, down-to-earth, easy-going and affectionate, with a sense of humor and an attitude of gratitude. Striving to live each day with a positive outlook. I like engaging conversations about most anything, reading and meeting new people. I am orig from NY but moved to Phoenix ***years ago. I love horses and was lucky enough to own one for a while but I havent been riding in years.... I enjoy time with family and friends but am also comfortable spending time alone.I am definitely more on the casual side than not and prefer jeans or shorts and flip flops but have been known to wear dresses! I also really enjoy the beach and often wonder why I live in a land-locked state like AZ?I would like to meet a kind, compassionate, open-hearted and affectionate man. Someone whose quality of life is based upon integrity and their relationships. Someone with a sense of humor about life and himself, who balances work and down time. Someone with his own interests who likes to learn new things and is enthusiastic about life. One who can see the silver lining...Brownie points if you like to cook :)I happily was all the dishes.I like lots of things including hole in the wall restaurants, sushi and steakhouses. I try to eat healthy which includes dark chocolate and wine. I love to go to comedy shows, local theater, movies, music, museums, the beach, picnics up north, road trips. Would someday love to do the PCH trip and don't much care if I start north, south or in the middle! I also look forward to more travel in future within the US (wouldn't it be cool to go to all 50 states at some point) and internationally with Italy at the top of my list. Right now I'm perfectly content with a few yearly road trips to California (including Disney), Rocky Point. and NY/NJ to visit family each July while spending most of that visit at my brother's beach house on the Jersey shore. Hmmm maybe I should've put beach bum as my description above!First dates are always awkward arent they? So i like to meet for coffee, breakfast, lunch or an early dinner to talk and get to know someone better. I've also gone to museums and the zoo on a first date which is not bad but movies or music are not my preference because you cant talk easily.
