Hello,First of all, thanks for taking the time to read my profile.I am a single dad of a teenage son which dictates a lot of my life, and it has been the catalyst for much of my emotional growth. I have learned a lot about myself, and something about unconditional love, too. I like to think I am intelligent, charming, funny, and engaging, but maybe it's just me? I have a good set of morals, and mom taught me good manners. I think there is something romantic about holding doors, and pulling out chairs, etc. The basis of every successful relationship I have had is a good friendship...plus a dose of romance.I have the ability to recognize the least appropriate thing to say in a situation, and have begrudgingly accepted that it's not always best to share. But if it's really funny, I may have to whisper it to you. I can confidently say the older I get the weirder dating gets!A meet and greet for coffee is the norm but I'd really love to go and do something! A hike, walk, sightseeing, anything but eating another substandard meal with all the appeal of a compost pile served across my face by a shaved monkey working its way through a liberal arts degree.
