I signed on as moral support for someone else who needed to get back out and start dating. Why am I still here? I'm now a forum junkie and have made a few friends...while I am open to a relationship should it develop I am not longing for one or on a mission to find one. I tend to have a weakness for the long haired rocker type guy and that will turn my head, but long hair isn't a requirement - and being a musician isn't either - though you should enjoy different types of music. Traits I like in a person: local, fun, happy/at peace/laid back and relaxed, intellectual/intelligent (I am a sapiophile), able to spell/use grammar correctly, well spoken, confident, not arrogant, able to laugh at himself, takes good care of himself, mind, body and spirit, know what he wants and likes in his world, but is open to new and different possibilities. Expects nothing, doesn't force anything, goes with the flow. Comfortable with who he is, drama free and able to enjoy his own company. : )I call this first "meet". Since attraction is something you have to determine in person, I think a short, inexpensive convenient first meet is better for both parties than planning a long drawn out get together. If during the meet we wanted to then plan a date, I'm all for it. The first actual date after we've met and know there's interest would be somewhere we'd discussed and both agree we wanted to do together.

I love my job as a ***dispatcher, work 2nd shift and don't always have a Mon-Fri schedule. I love to travel, even if it's just a short road trip In state on my odd days off. Next trip is Maine/Mass to see family :) My music taste is eclectic. Currently I'm switching between Alternative Rock (97X) and Country (WQYK.) I've been on a concert kick lately. Saw some great shows last year & looking forward to more great shows this year. Up next is Def Leppard, Tesla & Styx. I'm a jeans, t-shirts & boots or flip flops kinda girl, but I do dress up for special occasions :) I'm a line dancing fool & go to Dallas Bull often. Not much of a drinker though & I avoid Thursdays there like the plague, it's way too packed. If you dance, that's a great bonus.
