Love to travel! I've been almost around the world by air and sea.My favorite is cruising! When I am not in Port, I like sitting on the deck writing short stories and poetry. When in Port, I like snorkeling (Carib) boating, swimming or mingling with the locals, to learn of their culture. Since I am widowed (Mar. ***, traveling has slowed, but still go when I can. I am from Northern N.J.. Went to school there, business school and some college. I guess I'm a romantic, because in the Winter, I like sitting by a fire, and listening to Classical music. ALSO, like oldies (50's-60's). In the Summer, I like walking the beach or anywhere (hand and hand). I like Adventure and have done many amazing things in life. River rafting in Alaska, swimming w/sting rays in Haiti, being able to walk right up to a bull moose (2 ft), in Alaska, or working with and interviewing, Gen. McAuliffe, from the Battle of the Bulge. He was the American Gen. that said "Nuts" to the Germans in WWII.A special date would be to dine out along the waterways or maybe a dinner cruise.My friends say I have a beautiful smile and that I'm a happy, caring and relaxed person. I am looking for the like, to begin a relationship and possible future. AND, yes, I guess I DO look younger then my age, most say about 10 years, but HEY...LUCKY ME!!! IF you like cruising, to dance(waltz/fox trot), that would be a plus. Most Sundays, I like to go to Church, go out to eat, or visit family. Family is very important to me. A good honest and sincere life is, as well. Not into parties, rap, race cars, fishing, heavy drinking or bars.We could meet out on a terrace/deck restaurant, overlooking the water, watching the sunset with two nice tall tropical drinks. Don't forget the umbralla. After dinner, we would just talk about ourselves, discuss our likes and dislikes and get to know each other.

    Have you been to Machu Picchu? This is on my future "bucket list" to explore new countries before I'm too old and feeble. I recently retired and my retirement present was a 17-day adventure to India and Nepal. The Taj Mahal was breathtaking. Other recent countries were Brazil and South Africa. Also ventured to Russia, Greece, Turkey, Spain, France, Italy, England, Mexico, Hawaii, and Australia. My most memorable trip was to Egypt to see the Sphinx and the Great Pyramids. I want to take the same cruise down the Nile River again when things have quieted down. Though I am now retired, I am financially secure, and have two timeshares to continue traveling.
