About Me

I am a somewhat old-fashioned, 51 year old woman living in Southern IL. Not looking to relocate. I have been divorced for ***years and have two kids, 26 and 22 years of age, one of whom live with me, along with my two young grandsons. So, if you are not into being around kids of any age, we would not be a match. I STRONGLY believe in the family unit. I absolutely love living in the country and do not see myself living any other way. Working now on my goal to self-build a solar cordwood/strawbale home on the family's farm I live on and to raise a few animals to be processed. So my ultimate desire is to find someone that understands and loves the country lifestyle. And is adventurous and active enough to want to partner with me on these goals. I have a load of interests, a good mix of outdoor and indoor based. Really love being around water, but not on it. So I am NOT a boat person. I tend to be a quiet person, but I have my zany days where I am a chatterbox. I feel I am a understanding, affectionate, reI am open to suggestions. I enjoy many things. But, usually a place or quiet activity where we can talk and see if we click seems best.
