I'm a hopeless romantic who still believes dreams do come true. My dream is to find that one true "soulmate" and build a future together, thru good and bad times, knowing as long as we have eachother, everything will work out. Maybe I have my head in the clouds but I do know this kind of love is possible. My Grandparents were a great example. I'm looking for a man who is a romantic as well. He must be honest, faithful, is able to communicate, has a great sense of humor, can be a little goofy/crazy at times and yet be the "knight in shining armor" when needed. I want him to want to hold my hand, give a hug/kiss out of the blue with an "I love you" attached, whether in public or not, is it too much to ask for? I don't know....but I have hope your out there!! I haven't given up yet.I'm a very honest & loyal person and expect the same. I have a great sense of humor and love to laugh. I am into music, Rock & the Blues are my fav, NASCAR and Detroit sports....yes, even the Lions. I love my dog and walk him every day (so you must love dogs too), spending time with my family is important, especially my nieces, they are so much fun. I would love to travel, have always wanted to go to Hawaii, Australia, Turks & Caicos (again), really anywhere in the Caribbean is cool with me. Being the NASCAR fan I am, I would also love to attend the Daytona 500, Talladega & of course the Bristol night race.     Love being outside when the weather is beautiful. Love to dig in the dirt and (try to) garden--get my hands dirty. Ride bike. I hopefully will spend a lot of time at the pool this summer with the kids I nanny. Four of them 8,7,6, & 1&1/2. Try watching that many kids if you aren't a young 62! LOL.I love to visit with friends. There is a large group of us & we call ourselves the "Group B Group". We celebrate Birthdays, go to plays, movies, concerts, play cards (Hearts and ***mostly) but we especially get together and watch the Vikings during the season. I also hang out with my friend Cathy at Caribou when there is time. Then there's Maya, Candace, Jennifer, my daughter Chara etc. I am very outgoing and social. I am the Adult Social Ministry leader at my church because of my "effervesent personality". At least that is how I was introduced at the annual meeting. :-) I attend a non-traditional Christian church called Unity South in Bloomington. It can be found on line and on *** is a spiritual church, positive and a way of life--which is in this very moment. The Rev. says we are not "New Age", rather "Seekers of Truth". We meditate and that is our communion with God. I also meditate with a group and at home.I love to swing dance--haven't been in way to long. I love eating out, eating in, --try to eat healthily-- live theatre and movies. The music I like from the 60's like Moody Blues, Jethro Tull ***. I also like some Jazz, Classical, and Meditation music. I have been a healer for as long as I can remember. Nurse for 30 years. Now into Pranic (energy) healing through God, of course. I just completed a series of classes titled "Christian Healing." I plan to continue what I believe are my 3 reasons for being here at this time: "To heal, to teach-children-, and to bring joy into peoples lives."
