At times slowly drifting on waves of music on a lake pushed by an obliging wind or skiing down crystals of water pulled by mother earth as she turns. Professionnal at work , I enjoy the evasion of the cottage, a night out, a romantic evening or a week end getaway. I have the two most worderful children in the world, for whom I shared custody,and who became independent adults way too fast, now building their future. I love to follow the stream of the seasons, particularly at the cottage with its fireplace, its summmer kayak, fall colours, winter skiing and spring awakening.I am fluent in two languages,I converse reasonably in a third and I can order a beer in two more! I have traveled from lattitude to longitude and I am more the type to visit a zen temple in Kamakura, or an old Orthodox church who has survived the communism of Moscow, or being in an old haunted Scottish castle that housed William Wallace than riding on a overhead railtrain at Disney world...unless... my children... wanted to... I enjoy listening to all types of music under Pink Floyd's dark side of the moon, throughout all four of Vivaldi's seasons,trying to master the reality of Black Sabath, to the Jazz of Winton Marsalis at the other Orleans. Most sublime is the soul of Motown and most pure is the sound of silence.I seek to meet a woman who is honest, confident, humourous, joyvial and joyful, independant, romantic, with whom I can discuss, philisophize, share, learn, be active and even be ... mischievous! in total complicity!     Hi I must start with a little more about myself. I do work a lot and don't have much free time at this point in time. The right person may change that. I do work THIRD SHIFT.I'm back on this site looking to see whats out there. I've been through a health scare, I was diagnosed with leukemia in ***. Had a bone marrow transplant the same year. Im cancer free as of my last test. I grew up in Sacramento California. Moved to Wisconsin in ***. Divorced in ***. All my family live back in California. The kids live here and i enjoy my job. So moving back has never been an option. We go back every year, so the kids grow up knowing their cousins. My free time depends on if I have the kids or not. If I do have the kids, then it depends on what they and their friends want to do. We will go to the pool and swim or go to the skate park. Sometimes we just end up just hanging around the house. If I don't then I will do some scroll work, will post a picture. Been working on my Ford 9n tractor, been sanding, painting and restoring it. I also have two motorcycles I've been working on. I have also been working on the house. One thing that I have been guilt of is not getting back to people after they take the time to write. Will try my best to do better. What I'm looking for? A friend and in time more. If you start as friends, the friendship is always there. I think my biggest faults are. I try to make everyone happy and I trust and believe people too much. I have a wide range of music I listen to. It can range from country to rock and (some)rap to heavy metal. I do a little bit of scroll work and enjoy make thing with my hands. I've been working on my house off and on for the last year. I have done the hunting thing and I can take it or leave it. I do enjoy taking the gun out with my son and shooting at targets. I enjoy the seasons we have here. Like to see the kids having a great time with there friends sledding or just playing in the snow. I also enjoy being in and on the water. I will write more later.Any place we could talk and get to know each other. I think lunch in a park, coffee shop is a nice place to start. It will also depend on the person and what feel comfortable with.
