Hi there...Hope you are having a great day. I am a very happy, secure, confident woman. I have put a lot into my life to achieve where I am. I am looking for someone who is also very secure and confident. I am looking for a relationship that is based on inter-dependence and not dependence. One that allows for space, but on the other hand after a long day of work I want to get in my car and feel as if I can't wait to get home to see my best friend and lover! Not just in the beginning, but after years of time together. Everyone always says that a good relationship requires soooo much work and effort! If it's such an effort and a struggle, you may just be with the wrong person! I think that when you find the right person the relationship is like a puzzle and just fits nicely together. Yes, you have to be creative and look for ways to maintain that kind of romance, but if it's the right person and you both have respect, love and admiration for one another, you will want to do things for each other that make the other person feel special. It's important to me that my mate take good care of himself - that he exercises and cares about the way he looks and feels, that he is stable and dependable. I work as a health educator in corporate health and wellness, still do some personal training and still teach at a local YMCA so I am very passionate about staying active and fit! I am also a triathlete and enjoy both the training and the competition. If you are a sedentary person, I can tell you that this will not work out. I am very high energy and although you don't have to be a triathlete I am looking for the same in my partner. I also want someone who loves to laugh and have fun! Life is way too serious and we all need to let go once and while and just enjoy! Love a cozy night on the couch with wine and a movie too....so I am balanced! lol!Btw, I would like to share one more thing. I currently have a house I would like to sell in East Stroudsburg, PA. However, the market has made this difficult to achieve. Hoping this spring there will be an opportunity. So I live in Rockaway during the week and go the PA on weekends. I just want to make sure that is not a problem if you have an interest! Since I am in Rockaway more days of the week, I choose to use that to identify my location.For a first date I think it would depend on how well I got to know the person through e-mails and phone calls prior to the date. It could just be getting together for coffee or going out for a nice dinner. After that I really enjoy dates that include some kind of activity...hiking and dinner or lunch, movie and dinner, biking, etc.

When you can do anything together, share your deepest thoughts, and learn what makes the other happy, then it's bliss - and all worthwhile. What a great thing to look forward to at the end of the day.I like the atmosphere of a cozy restaurant or bar for a drink and conversation. Possibly dinner if we both feel like there's a reason to stay! I'd like to find someone who would enjoy live music and drinks, since the weather is great and I love the outdoors. A day beach trip with a really nice guy, getting to know him in such a peaceful environment....that's what I would love to do.
