I'm a transplant: Adaptable, fit, trim, smart, healthy, handy, and selectively sexy...an educated professional who also enjoys getting her hands dirty. My focus is a planet friendly healthy life style. Professionally, I do a lot of pro bono work...more heart than good sense, sometimes, to quote my mother. I'm a life long "learner"...curious as a child and always needing to experiment and improve. I'm relearning organic gardening which my dad practiced and I didn't know enough to appreciate, back then. Gotta keep up with politics, preferrably filtered through Bill Maher and Jon Stewart. The latest in Science and Psychology always have a place on my nightstand. For relaxation, I explore the world. I can often be found hiking all these wonderful river/stream trails, reading something amazing, or researching on the internet. I do love all that information available with a couple keystrokes. That doesn't leave much time for TV, so I gave mine away awhile back. NOTE: HIKING BUDDIES OF ANY AGE OR SEX ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!Of course, some of the wonders of nature are human and I'm looking for a special male version for mutual cherishing and spoiling. Would someday love to do the PCH trip and don't much care if I start north, south or in the middle! I also look forward to more travel in future within the US (wouldn't it be cool to go to all 50 states at some point) and internationally with Italy at the top of my list. Right now I'm perfectly content with a few yearly road trips to California (including Disney), Rocky Point. and NY/NJ to visit family each July while spending most of that visit at my brother's beach house on the Jersey shore. Hmmm maybe I should've put beach bum as my description above!First dates are always awkward arent they? So i like to meet for coffee, breakfast, lunch or an early dinner to talk and get to know someone better. I've also gone to museums and the zoo on a first date which is not bad but movies or music are not my preference because you cant talk easily.
