If you're looking for a typical, average girl, then I may not be what you're looking for. If, however, you're looking for someone different, someone intelligent, vivacious, passionate, creative, silly, playful and a bit mischievous, then read on.......I'm an upbeat, energetic, open-minded woman searching for a clever, witty and charming gentleman for friendship, flirting, fun and an LTR. I'm hoping to meet a confident, creative, communicative, optimistic man who thinks outside the box, believes in romance, takes initiative, can be silly and playful, and realizes that money doesn't buy happiness - it has to come from within. A man who is comfortable with himself and satisfied with his life, but would like to find that special someone to share the journey and adventures with along the way. Someone who's nice but also a bit spicy and sassy........I have my degree in geology and worked for over 15 years in corporate America as an environmental geologist. I grew tired and stressed from the corporate rat race and wanted to spend more time with my son and family, so I left the commute down the I***and the pressure cooker life style for a new career in education. I worked for several years at an educational produce farm in Valley Center (Bell Gardens Farm), then managed an intergenerational science program for seniors and elementary students which led to being a curriculum developer for a high school environmental science text. Next I was a barista at Starbucks for 5 years, and now I'm working at Trader Joe's. Whew!I enjoy interacting with people and (hopefully) making a positive difference in their lives. I love spending time with my friends and family, and have friends ranging from their 20's to their 60's. To me age doesn't matter.....the person, their spirit and their attitude do. I love dogs (well, pretty much all animals), laughter, hugs and the smell of citrus blossoms. I'm hoping to find a man who loves and accepts me for who I am, and I will do the same for him.I have a great network of friends I'd love to introduce you to and hope you do to. I love to try new things, to work hard and workout, and be spur-of-the-moment. I own my own home in Escondido, have a 24-yr old son who's married, graduated from college and even has a good job in his field (biology). I grew up in the SF Bay Area (Marin County) and all my family still live there so I visit several times a year.. I love an afternoon at the beach.....boogie boarding in the water and laying in the sun. I make an mean margarita with all natural ingredients and enjoy a glass of fine red wine. I've *** floors in two rooms of my house (with the help of a friend), but there's always more projects to work on. I love my power tools....but also love my little black dress, heels and a night on the town!I work out regularly and hope you do too. I'm outgoing, energetic, and open-minded. I love music, dancing, the outdoors and long, slow, passionate kisses. How about you?
