Okay here's a little about myself, which is never easy. I'm looking for a healthy relationship with a man who can not only be my partner, but also my best friend and confidante. Let's enjoy each other's company and have fun with dating. I want a man who can hold his own conversation and be comfortable within himself. He also needs to like to laugh and have a good time, whether it is at a nice restaurant or just sitting home watching a movie with some wine or a good beer. I watch sports, especially the NY Mets and NY Jets. On a Sunday during football season, I will either be home or at the game cheering on the Jets. I also enjoy going to concerts, especially the PNC during the summer. I work very hard as a teacher and enjoy my weekends.I love to travel, but have not traveled in a while. I've been to London, Paris, Switzerland and Italy. I'm not into games, too old for them! I am a smart, funny, and confident lady. I have a warm heart and I am very giving. I give my all when I am in a relationship and feel communication is the key to a good relationship. My family and friends are extremely important to me. I have been to Europe a couple of times and Mexico pretty frequently. I speak Spanish as a second language.My favorite music is classic rock, but I have everything from celtic music to Johnny Cash to Nelly on my iPod. I also listen to country a lot, 80's hair bands (I know), and I love female rock/pop artists with attitude.I love to read. I love spy and military fiction, historical fiction/nonfiction, historical romance (brain candy) and supernatural novels (again, I know). Can you tell that I am also a history buff?I love Mexican food, Italian, and seafood, in that order. I am known for regularly eating food so hot that it makes others want to stick their open mouth in the ice bin.I am the person in my circle of friends that you don't dare to do something, because I very well may do it. Kinda takes the fun out of it for them. :) And just to get it out of the way now--what about me is likely to irritate you?People tell me that I should drive in Nascar. That isn't always a good thing for the person sitting in the passenger seat. :) I am a ranter. I rant. With humor. Its cathartic; I can get things out of my system before they really foul things up. I am quite intelligent, but I am unobservant. Ridiculously unobservant.I want to laugh and find humor even when you may not. You may have to tell me to turn it off. I may not listen. :)Meeting somewhere open to have coffee or a drink or take a walk. Maybe people-watch (another fave). Movies and events like that don't give you the opportunity to talk and get to know each other.
