(FYI...I'm on a losing streak...determined to live a healthy lifestyle...yay me!)I am a very driven individual with a job that requires long hours at times, however, it’s interesting, challenging, and something I really enjoy doing. I'm grateful that my job allows me to travel back & forth between Austin & Ft. Worth. My home base is Austin, however, I'm travel to Ft. Worth quite a bit. I truly have the best of both worlds. :)I have a 20 yr old daughter that I love dearly that brightens my life! She's off at college and learning what life is like as a young adult on her own.I like to.....keep myself busy whether it’s hanging out with my family and/or my friends, spending some quiet time reading, catching a good chick flick or action packed thriller at home or at the theatre, or working out at the gym or taking a nice walk. I like to go country dancing, hit the local hot spots for a good dinner, go to sporting events, and people watch - anywhere - anytime! I'm always on the go & love it!Ultimately, I am looking for the ONE.....I'm looking for my "everything". However, making new friends is just important.     Hello! I love the outdoors and, of course, the water. I enjoy kayaking, swimming, camping, hiking etc. I would love to learn new outdoor activities such as sailing or rock climbing. I got scuba certified while traveling in Thailand a couple of years ago, but I haven't gone diving here yet. I do, however, miss the snow. I am a northerner at heart. I have been to many other countries, set foot on every continent other than Antarctica (that is on the list of future destinations), and traveled throughout the US as well. I don't think that I will ever feel that I have seen enough of this amazing planet. I hope to find a lifelong travel partner who shares this passion. I have made a pretty good life for myself. I have a great job, a wonderful house, and amazing friends, but I'm looking for the one person to complete the package. My views on dating: For me, dating is the way of finding the one person to spend my life with. This does not mean, however, that I plan on jumping into things or getting married before I have spent plenty of time getting to know that person and building a solid foundation for our relationship. It only means that I don't believe in dating people that I KNOW I could never be with long term. I'm looking for "Mr. Right". I want to find someone who I have some common interests with, knows what he wants in life, and with whom I can become best friends. Friendship is key! Although I am looking for "the one", I believe that every relationship should start with an amazing friendship. If it's right, it will develop from there. If it isn't right, then we have both gained a friend. It's a win-win situation. I can't wait to hear from you.
