I guess this is the part where I ramble on a bit about myself as a method of introduction. Here goes...I was born and raised in this area of Massachusetts. I moved out to California when I was 19 and made a life for myself on the far northern coast of the state. No, not the sunny, warm, movie star part of California. Humboldt County, amongst the giant redwood trees and fog strewn, rocky coastline. I continued to visit my family and friends back here every year, and never really shook the feeling that I was an East Coaster deep down in my heart and truly belonged here with my people.Fast forward to the present... Due to a series of unforseen events, one of which is the declining health of my mother and the need for her to have a family member overseeing her affairs, I find myself living here again. I am excited for the change, embracing the familiarity of my birthplace, but approaching it all with the eyes and heart of someone starting a new adventure.That being said, I consider myself to be an outgoing person, who generally makes friends easily. I like to enjoy life and have fun. I will give myself credit for being a semi-intelligent (IMHO), caring person with many interests. I'm a catch, gentlemen! Although, like most everyone, I find I have a lot going on in my personal life, I would still like to pursue dating, and maybe, just maybe, hold onto the hope that it might be possible to find a nice guy who enjoys my company as much as I enjoy his.So, go ahead and take a chance.
