I'm updating my thoughts after being here a little while. It's given me a better perspective on how to describe the man I hope to find, or will find me. Most people are here for the reason I am - to find someone who works for them, who makes the heart beat faster, who feels something special when they see that person, with a hope that feelings will grow into something real. I've felt it before and I think it can happen again. I like to think I am someone a good man would choose. I relate best to people who, like me, are sincere, friendly, open hearted, non-judgmental, engaging, intelligent, enthusiastic, adventurous, passionate, kind, responsible, considerate - and a lot of fun - laughing and cutting up with the one I'm with is the best. I also like to be around my family and enjoy all kinds of things with close friends. I hope to find a one good man, a kindred spirit, who treats people well, considers how others feel, is positive and honestly wants a magnetic connection that is built on something real. When you can do anything together, share your deepest thoughts, and learn what makes the other happy, then it's bliss - and all worthwhile. I know that if I make a man's heart skip a beat and he can't help but smile when he hears my voice, that makes me happy. As does knowing we can't get enough of each other. What a great thing to look forward to at the end of the day.I like the atmosphere of a cozy restaurant or bar for a drink and conversation. Possibly dinner if we both feel like there's a reason to stay! I'd like to find someone who would enjoy live music and drinks, since the weather is great and I love the outdoors. A day beach trip with a really nice guy, getting to know him in such a peaceful environment....that's what I would love to do.

    I have been single for a number of years after a 24 year marriage, and although I am independent and rather content with my life, there are moments when I think I would like to meet someone special to share activities such as day trips, movies, dinners, theatre, etc. I have two grown children, and three grand children. Who knew that being a grandmother could be so much fun. Many of us have become content living our lives solo (I am no exception), but in my heart I know that something is definitely missing. If you feel the same and seek some companionship now and then, a good conversation over a bottle of wine, then please drop me a line.What would be nice is if a few members could meet at a local restaurant at a specified time to share a meal with absolutely no pressure, simply a gathering of the minds so to speak. Now that would be a lovely gathering.First encounters are strictly for getting to know one another better, so therefore, it would consist of an informal setting, meeting for a drink or coffee (maybe even lunch/dinner). Hopefully there will be some common interests.
