Thanks for stopping by, it's nice of you to take the time to review my profile.Fun, flexible guy from New York, looking to meet a kind, friendly, bright, brave, suitable woman, with a nice smile, a quick wit and an open heart. I'm not looking to play games chasing around a lot of women, but I'm not pretending all this passing notes isn't crazy like 7th grade study hall either. I think patience, good communication and a sense of humor are important.For example, I like to hike/walk, watch college football, BBQ, making wine/beer, travel, and making music. Maybe you might not like any of those things. I'm not dumbfounded. And I'm not going to sugar coat it-- maybe you like things that I don't, (shoe shopping, roller blading, apple martinis, smoking or ballroom dancing). Does that mean we could not possibly find common ground? Of course not, but it probably means patience, good communication and a sense of humor are some of the keys to the kingdom of romance. Do I care if you can't type, spell, or put semicolons in the right place? No. But I do care if you can't be bothered to take the time to say drop in and say hello? Yes. Of course I care about that. I care because you're cheating yourself. Don't cheat yourself. You deserve better. Not that I'm better, but how could you know, right? See what I mean?     I'm a single dad with custody of a beautiful daughter, almost 16. I am finding that as she grows, she is discovering her own interests and activities that sometimes do not involve me, lol, so I need to get out more on my own as well!     Hi I must start with a little more about myself. I do work a lot and don't have much free time at this point in time. The right person may change that. I do work THIRD SHIFT.I'm back on this site looking to see whats out there. I've been through a health scare, I was diagnosed with leukemia in ***. Had a bone marrow transplant the same year. Im cancer free as of my last test. I grew up in Sacramento California. Moved to Wisconsin in ***. Divorced in ***. All my family live back in California. The kids live here and i enjoy my job. So moving back has never been an option. We go back every year, so the kids grow up knowing their cousins. My free time depends on if I have the kids or not. If I do have the kids, then it depends on what they and their friends want to do. We will go to the pool and swim or go to the skate park. Sometimes we just end up just hanging around the house. If I don't then I will do some scroll work, will post a picture. Been working on my Ford 9n tractor, been sanding, painting and restoring it. I also have two motorcycles I've been working on. I have also been working on the house. One thing that I have been guilt of is not getting back to people after they take the time to write. Will try my best to do better. What I'm looking for? A friend and in time more. If you start as friends, the friendship is always there. I think my biggest faults are. I try to make everyone happy and I trust and believe people too much. I have a wide range of music I listen to. It can range from country to rock and (some)rap to heavy metal. I do a little bit of scroll work and enjoy make thing with my hands. I've been working on my house off and on for the last year. I have done the hunting thing and I can take it or leave it. I do enjoy taking the gun out with my son and shooting at targets. I enjoy the seasons we have here. Like to see the kids having a great time with there friends sledding or just playing in the snow. I also enjoy being in and on the water. I will write more later.Any place we could talk and get to know each other. I think lunch in a park, coffee shop is a nice place to start. It will also depend on the person and what feel comfortable with.
