Several years ago, my friends encouraged me that it was time to start a new chapter (and, hopefully, the grand finale) in my book of life. So, I did . . . but after a couple of 'stalled' revisions, I'm still working on that last chapter. I like planning things to do (because the anticipation of the upcoming event excites me - just like a kid at Christmas); but I also like spontaneity. And, I'll try almost anything once (unless it involves heights -- sorry, but I cannot and will not do bungee jumping, skydiving, hot air balloons, roller coasters).It's the little things that mean a lot to me (e.g., an unexpected call during the day just to say "hi," a card/note for no reason) and I'm very reciprocal. A simple smile means so much more than a dozen roses. I guess you could say that I'm a hopeless (or is it hopeful?) romantic. And because I give more than 100% in a relationship (and have always done so), it would only be fair to expect the same in return (it's okay if he will give at least ***%). P.S. And since I'm a native Dallasite, I love going to the State Fair of Texas on opening day -- September 26, ***!We could meet for coffee or a drink (or maybe one of the "group" events or even go to a "swap meet" and look at old cars [which would bring back such fond memories, mainly because I always wanted one of those cars -- although I did have a ***'Vette back in ***and wish I had kept it]). I'm open to suggestions. I guess the main objective is to see if we can make each other's "day" or wanting the next date to happen ASAP! We could do almost anything and see where that leads . . . maybe even to a second, third "date"?

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to read my profile,I have never been materialistic. A single rose or a heartfelt card means more to me then anything. I live presently in Beaver Dam. I am looking for a one on one relationship. The music I enjoy the most is Eric Clapton, Neil Young, B.B. King, Led Zeppelin, Tom Petty and Foreignor. I love 70's and 80's music in addition to romantic music. Robin Trower I started listening to in the past couple years and I love his music. I heard him sing in Madison and was right next to the stage. I also like harmonica music it makes you want to tap your foot and bop your head. I went to Busch Gardens when I was in my 20's and liked the bluegrass music. I think I could honestly be happy just listening to music all day long. I seem to get more into music with lights off versus on. I love to dance. I love going to concerts and festivals. I have a desire to go on a cruise which I have never done before and think everyone should go at least once in their life time. I just want to live my life to the fullest and make life an adventure. I am not into one night stands and want a full time relationship with someone that is of good character. I guess I am looking for companionship or a soulmate. It is not important that a person shares all my interests and I share all of their's. I like doing things that are inexpensive and you don't have to prove anything to me. A walk in the park, renting a movie and watching it together at home is just as fun as an expensive date. I love to have long conversations with someone special. My ideal relationship is when two people can talk about everything and not worry about being judged. I no longer own like I did for the past 20 years but I am debt free and how many people can say that. So many owe for their lifestyle like cars, mortgages toys. And will have to work their whole lives to pay for everything to live the life they have lived thus far. Profile picture is of me now. Short hair is me from a couple years ago. Feel important to have current picture. I like the idea of RV travel but I mainly want to get out of Wisconsin during the winter months. I included a picture of me as a blond taken about 3 years ago in florida Sometimes it is fun to see what it is like to have a different hair color. When you retire that is time that you finally can enjoy your life. No stress. Get up when you want, go places spur of the moment. Go to a festival out of town spend the night, after all you are no longer working so you have all the time in the world.I wanted to add here a word of advice. There is most likely many people that are not real out there on this site. If they are more than 2 hours a way be careful. Even with picture it still might not be the one you are talking to. Giving them out your *** they can have a more private conversation with you can be dangerous. Many years ago someone I was talking to sent a worm to be it is linked to a file that when you press on it downloads viruses to your computer. Also many of them want you to go on yahoo messenger. Again a very unsafe site because they can be attaching viruses to files they send to you. How many people our age really use that service anyway. The safest way to go is *** see the person you are talking to. It also works great for talking to family members and is a free service to you and them as long as they download also. Just wanted everyone to be well aware that scammers are still as active as ever it is a billion dollar business. If you are suspicious look up the information you do know about them like phone number do a reverse to see if come up with name or location.I would like to go someplace quiet where we can talk and get to know each other. To see what we have in common and whether there is a chance we could have a relationship. Life is a matter of chance meetings and the path you take is determined by fate. So many times it is about the road not taken. and being willing to take the chance.
