Thanks for checking out the profile. I know it's too long--you don't have to point it out. Most men apparently only look at the pics. Those who really do READ and ask questions rather than saying simply "Hi'! will be the only ones who get responses! I'm a intelligent professional who is active and fit. I'm a free thinker and a bit of an oxymoron:,a science "nerd" in high heels. Known for a wacky sense of humor. What do I like to do? Well, I belong to a couple of Meetup groups for wine and dining; I hope you might be open to both. We do dinners and live music anywhere (not rap). I've been to a blues show at Luna with dancing; jazz at Ft. Sam and downtown; and I am looking forward to the Gruene Wine and Music festival. If you don't like jazz or blues we have a problem. I also love hikes and touring small towns and vineyards. I'm intellectually curious and adventurous and I have a lot of other likes, so please ask. I'd like to try zip lining at the new place in Wimberley or check out the Corn Maize in Hondo. Sitting in front of a TV is definitely not a preferred activity, When I am in a relationship I spend time with him alone; otherwise I might be hanging out with friends after a dinner--out or at home. I don't like to BBQ every weekend, or fish, though I can do both. I'm looking for a relationship with honesty, deep discussions, and passion foremost. I would like romance and hope you do too. You should be open-minded, witty, kind, compassionate and preferably very well-read, if not college-educated. Not trying to be shallow, but you need to be physically active and fit--I am and my pics are recent; yours should be also. We all gain a few pounds as we age and a good intellect is the most important, but be proportionate. I'm not sure why men complain that women here lie about their weight when I see the same thing all the time. Also, good grammar and the ability to use both paragraphs and the phone when communicating help! I am not into lots of texting and messages for a month as a start--a call is a good way to see if there's chemistry. I also can't believe how many "great" guys want sexting/naked pics by the 3rd contact and a quick hook-up. If that's you, go away; far, far away! I am interested in finding and sharing a last great love--which would mean the "M" word someday. If you think you will never re-marry then you aren't right for me. Doesn't mean right this minute; first we'll see how that all important chemistry (mental and physical) goes. I would like to be friends first, though, so please NO requests for "random acts of intimacy"; I'm not that lonely.Really think that meeting for a simple coffee or glass of wine is best--where conversation can be heard and some sense of potential chemistry can be assessed. A first date for me--that's next, when the chemistry is obviously there. And I'm a little old school--I don't want to set up the first date--be spontaneous and surprise me is best.

    I enjoy writing, recording and performing songs and have recently begun to play keyboard - don't do brilliantly but I can bash out a tune while my mates play guitar really well! Because of this I have enough titanium inside me to make a great racing bike as I've been pinned back together a number of times following fractures. That means I won't be joining you in a sky diving, bungee-jumping or ice-skating capacity. I set up Shoot Your Mouth Off, a disability Film Company, in ***, and am still Director. I love my job and frequently feel privileged to get paid for larking around with nice people all day!I'm open to suggestions - a lot of people seem to meet for a first date in a pub overlooking the harbour where I live, so that might be an idea.
