Woman. 40 years old. Zodiac sign: Scorpio.
Looking for: man. In age: 30-50
Well, here I am. In a nutshell I am a family-oriented, sun-loving, spontaneous woman who is looking for a good man. I love to go camping, to outdoor concerts, festivals, flea markets and be out and about to see new things as much as possible. I like to go wine tasting occasionally and I like trying new foods. I dig going to Tahoe and Reno just as much as everyone else seems to on this site. (Close enough to get there quickly and not too far away that I feel guilty leaving my cats alone.) I love to BBQ with family and friends, sit around a fire pit and enjoy a good laugh. There are so many of us on this site and I'm just looking for one. What I have to offer is my time, my generosity, my loyalty, my sense of humor and the overall care that I give to those in my life. I love to laugh and I need someone in my life that loves to laugh too. Someone who isnt going to take himself to seriousy and just go with the flow. I'd love to find someone who can get together for dinner, a movie, a baseball game or whatever, on a whim. If you love football, that would be a plus. I am a Raiders fan, and an A's fan but I've gone to my share of Giants games too. Sports are just fun to watch. I love to people watch while I'm there too. I like going to movies occasionally. If you can handle a chick flick once in a while, I can tolerate an action film. I am feminine, but I can fix things around my house and change a tire if I have to. I don't mind getting dirty in the garden or getting leaves in my hair when I get on the riding lawnmower. (I still help my pop around his property.) Of course, like any girl, it would be nice to have someone help me do those things. If you're the one, write me. Thanks, have a good one.I would love to meet for coffee (that's just the thing to say....I don't drink coffee) and if there is something there, I would love to go to a local sporting event. I would just like to really get to know the funny side of someone and get a taste of their sense of humor.

Woman. 39 years old. Zodiac sign: Capricorn.
Looking for: man. In age: 29-49
I am an outgoing boisterous social person, with a quiet introverted streak. I moved to Idaho a little over a year ago, and since I just bought a house, it looks like I'll be hanging around here for a while. Owning a home has been an experience so far. First morning I woke up to backed up sewer main. YAY! With my brother-in-law's help (or more accurately me assisting him) it got fixed. No breakdown crying over it here. All I could do was laugh and say to myself "welcome to home ownership". I've done some minor construction, lots of painting, and have so much more to do. My yard is a disaster... I have just under a half acre, and haven't tamed the jungle yet. If you by any chance look really good sweating doing yardwork, I wouldn't complain in the least. Just saying. I work for a company in CA, so I work from home. The dress code and the commute are great, but the potlucks rather suck now. I've had to forbid the cat from contributing anymore. And the dog is skating on thin ice. I'm a big reader... I usually read more in one year than most will read in their lives. I'll read anything that catches my fancy... however, I am mostly drawn to fiction because I love stories. Historical fiction in particular is fun. But, I don't limit myself, I've read almost every Louis L'amour book out there and over half the Danielle Steele (my parent's collections... pretty easy to see each person's taste). My humor ranges from goofy ridiculous, to warped and disturbed, and on over to cheesy and lame. I am pretty easy to entertain. Keeping a conversation going comprised of all bad puns is hilariously awesome. I love getting dressed up, love wearing dresses, heels, the whole 9 yards, but am also comfortable throwing my hair into a pony-tail, pulling on junk clothes and helping haul bricks or string up barbed wire. I have several tattoos, and have plans for quite a few more. Some women buy expensive purses, I decorate myself. I love nature and being in it. Listening to the ocean, or a stream/river is the best way to refresh the soul. I love learning about the world around me, and constantly am trying to learn anything I think is interesting, fun, or even just practical. I WILL be one of the ones surviving the zombie apocalypse. I have no kids of my own yet, but I love kids. I have worked with children in a variety of ways in the past, from daycare provider, to youth group leader, to teacher. I have some of my best times with kids. So, that being said, I am not at all nervous or reserved about dating a man with kids. If you'd like to discuss passive water heating systems, I am ready for that discussion! If debating the merits of peach fuzz are more your speed, I'm game for that convo too!Ultimately, I want someone who believes in real commitment. Who knows that life isn't all roses and sunshine, but believes in sticking around and sticking it out anyways.I want to find someone I can be affectionate with, give random kisses to just because I can, someone I want to leap into their arms out of sheer joy, or crumble into their arms when I am crushed. I want a partner, an equal, my best friend, my lover. Someone who is human, and may fail at times, but always tries their best. I don't want perfect... just right.A first date... as long as the two people show up in the same space, at the same time, and are able to interact and talk to begin to get to know each other, anything can be a good thing. Bowling... playing pool... lunch... dinner... coffee & a walk... I'm pretty open to what works in my world.
