About Me

Hi there, I am a divorced mother of two children in their twenties. I am looking for a long term relationship. I have taken early retirement and am getting more involved in art and music, which was a first love of mine I did not have time for before. I paint in oils and watercolour and sculpt. I sing in a choir. My goals at present are to further develop my artistic abilities and knowledge of art history. I am interesting in having more time for learning and am taking a variety of courses. I enjoy sitting out on a patio in the summer, or going for walks in the winter or summer especially by the lake. I like to go to movies, the theatre and listen to live music. I'm interested in travel in North America, having just toured Newfoundland this summer, and some southern spots like Cuba and Costa Rica.I would like to meet a man for a long term relationship who is intelligent, kind and cares about others.     Please don't judge the book by its cover... I am overweight, however, I'm on the fast track of weight loss. I dont feel that a movie theater is the right atmosphere for the FIRST date, because we really dont get to know each other. This is about getting to know one another and see if we are interested in pursuing a relationship, whether it be as friends or more, only time will tell.
