Updated:I spoke to a male friend of mine who said he would describe me as a caring, intelligent, funny, single mum with an intriguing imagination, who's up for an adventure. I may not be very girlie, as in I don't go on and on about Coronation Street (never watched it), dieting and weight issues or whether my bum looks big (because I know it looks like i want it to) but I do like to make an effort. I would like to meet someone who wants to share experiences but not lose all sense of independence. Old:I am divorced with 2 young boys, and I love to laugh and have a good sense of humour. I have travelled and lived in several countries so have very different outlook on life. I love spy and military fiction, historical fiction/nonfiction, historical romance (brain candy) and supernatural novels (again, I know). Can you tell that I am also a history buff?I love Mexican food, Italian, and seafood, in that order. I am known for regularly eating food so hot that it makes others want to stick their open mouth in the ice bin.I am the person in my circle of friends that you don't dare to do something, because I very well may do it. Kinda takes the fun out of it for them. :) And just to get it out of the way now--what about me is likely to irritate you?People tell me that I should drive in Nascar. That isn't always a good thing for the person sitting in the passenger seat. :) I am a ranter. I rant. With humor. Its cathartic; I can get things out of my system before they really foul things up. I am quite intelligent, but I am unobservant. Ridiculously unobservant.I want to laugh and find humor even when you may not. You may have to tell me to turn it off. I may not listen. :)Meeting somewhere open to have coffee or a drink or take a walk. Maybe people-watch (another fave). Movies and events like that don't give you the opportunity to talk and get to know each other.
