About Me

I'm originally from Nova Scotia and like most young professionals in the country, I got sucked into the nexus that is Toronto. By day, I'm a social worker who works in children's mental health. By night...I recover from being a social worker who works in children's mental health. I read a lot and always carry a book with me. I play dodgeball because there's nothing more cathartic than throwing balls at people. I spend a couple of nights a week playing sports and I'm really making a point to be more active. I love exploring Toronto and all the pockets of culture in it. I have no patience for bland food. I love trying new restaurants, but also try and take advantage of all the great markets in the city to find stuff to cook with. I prefer pubs to bars and a good board games night to either of those. I have a weakness for bad B movies. I always hate this part, because I feel like I'm in a job interview. No, I will not tell you what my greatest asset or weakness is, or where I see myself in 5 years.
