About Me

I'm looking for someone to explore the area with, find great hole-in-the-wall spots, hit the beach, visit the Keys, check out concerts, movies, etc. I love to laugh, be spontaneous and get out there and do things, rather than just sitting at home (mind you, I of course enjoy the ever-needed days of vegging out and watching movies).I saw the following question on some random personality quiz and quite liked it....interesting to really think about whats important to you...So say you’ve been exiled to a deserted island for one year with no possibility of escape or rescue. Assuming that your basic survival (food, water, shelter) is taken care of, what five items would you bring with you? My camera - to take pictures of any and everything and document the year there. I mean, one can never get enough palm trees, right?! lolAs cliche as it is, I would take my iPod/iPhone with me. Music is a huge part of my life. I am always listening to it. I can’t imagine life without music. It would suck when it ran out of batteries (which would be after like 10 hours with my phone). For the sake of this not being a stupid thing to bring, let’s just pretend that it has infinite battery power… and the ability to download new music… and movies…and books! Oh and it would have to have an anti-scratch finish on it because everyone knows how shitty those things get when introduced to sand. :)Oh and an endless supply of coffee with a way to make it. Yeah, definitely coffee. Mmmm….A hammock - sleeping on the sand is not always the most fun thing. Sad but true. There’s some places where you just don’t want sand. I’m talking about my iphone of course – get your mind out of the gutter!;)A surfboard - have no clue how to surf, but have always wanted to. What better opportunity could you get? Can I bring someone with me as well? ;) If so, I’d like to have someone to play with, be silly with and discuss important desert island topics with (of which I’m sure there are many pressing concerns). He should be able to light a fire, carry heavy things and kill spiders.

My headline is part of a quote by Tiffanie BeBartolo. "Anything less than mad, passionate, extraordinary love is a waste of time. There are too many mediocre things in life to deal with and love shouldn't be one of them." :) ME: curvy/heavy set but ACTIVE, employed, sane, sensual, devoted, forgiving to a fault, love to kiss in the rain, confident, trusting, I believe in traditional family roles YOU: kind, employed, not a criminal, not into drugs, God should have a place in your life, sensual, adventurous, independent but considerate, in control with out being controlling, (bonus - i love facial hair lately, must be the testosterone!)Most importantly for a successful relationship I believe WE should equate commitment with freedom. (Thank you, Alanis!)I read this the other day and think it rings true for what we are all searching for, and yes, it's corny and heavy. But I like it!Love is the unconditional support of someone's soul. It is the unshakable desire to see them become what they were meant to be, yet accepting of who they are now. It is unmoving, and remains when all else is gone - whether that is youth, health, mind or even life. (I warned you, I'm a hopeless romantic.)first meet would be simple, a coffee or a drink - quick/no pressurea first real date: ferry ride, walk on the beach, hmmmm...
