SO DO IT!!!! *** at 59 years young I'm back at the starting line of the rest of my life -- I'm in the midst of recreating myself and my life to be what it should have been many years ago. This i feel is something everyone should be aware of your whole life, because it's so easy to get off track and drift off in the wrong direction. I have a 34 year old daughter (Jamie) that has given me two assume grand kids, a 23 year old son (Shane) that decided to get married and join the army. if all babies were as pleasant as my two grand kids, the world would become very over populated. :o)I think anyone going through divorce needs A MINIMUM of one year (and I've read that you need one year for every five years that you were married) to recover mentally and regain the ability to make sensible decisions and not just think with your heart because your lonely or scared, before you start dating. April 11th ***was four years for me, and i believe i'm at that place in life where i'm happy with myself and life in general, so maybe very soon i'll meet that special lady, and she will become my best friend... Hopefully we will be two people that bring out the best in each other, and not just have a physical attraction but a spiritual one as well. Life goes by really fast and having someone special to share life with is so much more important than I ever thought.I am looking for someone who desires a close intimate relationship.     Honestly I've been on this site for years and havn't really dated any one on it. Totally my own fault I just wasnt in a good financial place(thanks ***and frankly my standards are high so I really wouldn't have wanted to date any woman who would date a broke ass guy like me. I'm a midwestern transplant for about 20 years now.I like boating,a little camping once or twice a year and I'm a great cook.
