I am your typical nice girl with an atypical sense of humor. I tend to be a little reserved and quiet around people I don't know until I get more comfortable around them, after which I warm up and become MUCH more talkative. I learned my love of hockey and baseball from my dad. We're all big fans of the Chicago Wolves and Kane County Cougars. On the weekends, I meet up with my friends in Chicago and check out all the awesome ethnic restaurants up there. I love trying new foods and new activities. I'm really easy-going, and I'm willing to try pretty much anything.When I spend time with my friends, we mainly just hang out and talk or watch movies, but we do sometimes hit up the bars and go dancing. I've recently started taking salsa dancing lessons and zumba lessons with some of my friends, which has been a ton of fun and totally counts as exercise, as far as I am concerned :) If you ever want to learn salsa, I'd be happy to take you with! We recently started up karaoke nights again on Wednesday nights, so I am getting back into practice with that. I also used to volunteer with the Humane Society back in college, but there isn't a branch near me now, so I'm looking for new volunteer opportunities.
