About Me

I'm at a place in my life where I'm looking for companionship. How each of us defines that is as unique as we are as individuals. I know most people dislike us 'separated' folks, and I can appreciate and respect that, but don't judge too harshly. I know plenty of people who say they are 'single' and are very married to their spouses in every sense of that word. I'm legally separated, I have a great relationship with my estranged spouse, but I do not love him anymore and we both have been living separate lives for over 12 plus yrs.Pretty simple stuff. I got my life in order and I have my priorities straight. My kids need me, but I make sure I make me time---and for the right person, it's well worth it. I'm a good person who wants to find someone who wants a decent person to fill the gaps in our hectic lives. The only way to truly get to know a person is to ask questions and meet them. Be fearless...say 'hello'---you have nothing to lose and a lot to gain...a great friend and person in me. Life is meant to be lived and while I'm doing that I'm also hoping to find someone to add to my life...maybe that person is you.P.S. I know how to spell fun....and I know what fun means....but if your idea of FUN begins with S and ends with X skip on by. I'm fat not desperate.P.S.S. I still consider myself new to Cambridge and am hoping to get to know the city and meet some new people. That said, I am in a period of transition at the moment and am open to going anywhere and doing anything!I will admit that I have a hard time overlooking poor spelling and grammar. I think it reflects a lack of effort and pride in self. There's really no good excuse for it. (I 'favourite' people when I come across someone who's profile I would like to look at again. Like a bookmark. I'm not sure why this seems to upset so many people.)I'd rather get to know each other through the course of doing something active. Forced conversation is a bit awkward to me.
