I love the outdoors, especially the mountains and the water. I’m a business lawyer with a great career, wonderful friends and a 17 year old daughter who is amazing -- mostly in a good way, but every once in a while that teenage brain of hers kicks in and......well, if you've had kids, you know what I mean. :-)I'm on this site because I want to spend less time being a lawyer and a mom, and more time having fun....enjoying the great things that South Florida has to offer, travelling around the US and abroad. I'd like to go down to the Keys more often, with or without a boat. I'd like to go to more Heat games (Cane and Dolphins are good too), enjoy more movies, concerts and festivals, rent an RV and camp out in the Keys or maybe Ocala National Forest. And I'm definitely open to trying new things as long as it won't get me killed or arrested. :-) I'd love to find someone to share all/some of these adventures with me....someone with a thirst for life and the flexibility and finances to enjoy these things with me. It would be nice to find a man who is a Christian, prioritizes his relationship with God and treasures his family. Someone who understands the juggling act I call my life :-) and is willing to be flexible with me for the next couple of years until my daughter is off to college. Someone who is good-hearted and understands that, at the end of the day, it’s what we give, not how much we gather, that really matters. Someone who takes care of himself, takes fitness seriously and prefers an active lifestyle. Someone who is young at heart and looks and feels younger than his years, who is well-rounded, fun loving with a quick wit and a positive outlook. Someone who enjoys people, has a good group of friends to golf, fish, run or tailgate with .Someone who is financially secure, educated (college or self-taught) and has some serious street smarts. If he knows his way around a toolbox, that's a plus! :-)Getting to know you over coffee at Starbucks, maybe lunch or brunch in the Grove or somewhere in Aventura if more convenient for you.

Mmmmm where do I start. I now live in Lincolnshire but have moved around the country a fair bit in the past. I live with my cat Barmy and dog Kaiser both disfunctional little souls but I love them never the less. Been on my own for 8 years now, although I enjoy life now i do feel it's time i had someone else in my life to share those special times.I have two boys both have flown the nest now, time for me PHEW!!!!! though I do miss them.I'm kind, caring and tend to give more than i expect in return. Not into falling out would much rather talk things through rationally. I enjoy going out to the pictures, theatre, days out at museums, places of interest and love most sporting events especially motor sport F1 and rallying. I'll even go to a football or rugby match but I have to say I don't like shopping!!! I have often been told i am one of the boys! Much happier in jean and T-shirt rather than dressing up in the latest fashion. Though I can get dressed up when requiredI work at a school where I take the learning outside, horticulture, forest school or conservation. I sit on Wakefield Biodiversity Group, I am an active member of the local badger group and have been involved with rescuing wildlife for many years, at the moment I am adoptive mum to a young meerkat who has now a forever home with me. He is amazing so tame and gets on with other pets.My exercise plan is not down at the gym! What am I looking for?... a good friend, someone to talk to, a companion to go out and about with and if we get on then who knows. What I don't want is a guy that is much younger then myself, i don't need a sex god and one night stands. I am not into mind games and I certainly don't bite so guys please feel to contact me... you may be surprised.Anywhere safe... not too much to ask is it.
