I am very driven which can either intimidate or turn people off...hopefully not you though...lol. I am looking for someone fiscally responsible...I don't want to be the provider and would like to feel 'taken care of' even if i don't need it ;-) I don't take these online photos to heart as I have met people that are way better looking on line than in person ...lol(and the other way around too)...but PLEASE BE TALL so if the opportunity arises I have the option of wearing heels...AND FIT...I don't wanna out bench press ya...lol. Oh ya... if you e-mail me lets not be pen pals forever. It seems more logical to try the phone then maybe even have a quick meet in person. E-mail leaves way too much open to individual interpretation :) That's enough for now.One more point... If you have a shirtless photo on here you probably are not the right guy for me... Even if you are super hot :-)The obvious would be a coffee or a beer first for a quick meet.If that works out then something adventurous, active , interesting, different or any combination of these .

How can one truly sum up a person's personality and essence in a few characters on a screen? We can all say what we wish, but our actions need to be there to support the words and the truth always finds a way to come out.As descriptive as words can be, many people, including myself, find it difficult to write about themselves. Some people take that chance and open themselves up like a book. Others do not. I would have to say I am of the latter of the two. I will allow people to read the introduction, perhaps the first chapter or two. However, to get past the first few chapters takes time. So, here is my prologue: 40 years old. Been though enough to know better, young at heart to not given up hope and try again. Sarcastic and witty, and a wordsmith. Someone who still believes in depth of character, rather than just playing the role. Music soothes my soul and should yours; the lyrics need to speak to me. For this reason I tend to gravitate towards the alternative genres (and all the subcategories which lay within), but good music is good music be it classic rock, metal, hair bands, 80's new wave, old soul, and so on. Love exploring and finding new things about my environment, and myself. An old soul with a young heart.Let me see if you can turn the *** Some things that I ponder or realize that may give you some insights about me:Do people even realize that when speaking poorly of an past partner, that it reflects poorly on them? After all, they were the one that decided to share thier time with that person. Why not reflect and see that there was good in them? You were the one that decided to date, marry or be with that person for that period of time. They were what you needed at that moment in time. When people say, "All the good ones are taken" when they are single, do they not realize that they are insinuating that there must be something wrong with themselves as well? Why do people seem to lose manners on the internet? Manners, honesty, and respect go a long way.The past does most certainly shape the present. It creates the foundations of who we are. It is how we lay those bricks that matter. People talk about baggage and not having any. Well, I am proud to say that I do have baggage. I take the good things from my past and put them into a carry-on. I don't have a steamer trunk of issues, but I don't forget where I have been and time to time, I can look back. There are things that are just meant to be left in the past, because frankly, they no longer fit. There is an old proverb, which translated loosely goes like this, "If you walk looking back over your shoulder, you may walk right into the wall directly in front of you."I'm part zombie. I like brains. I've noticed quite a few men have photos of themselves fishing, holding a fish. Gentlemen, are you trying to be ironic?Well, a first date is and should be unique to each and every person. Having a "generic first date" is limiting. For some people a coffee is good, for others walking around and talking or a bookstore or dinner. I hate labels and limitations. As if you couldn't tell that by now.
