Sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong time. I'm not at all into the whole modern dating scene and the whole casual 'hookup' thing is just beyond me. I love kids and animals. I'm not a terribly social person as I'm not really comfortable in a crowd, but my circle of friends is extremely important to me as is my family. I like travel and outdoor activities on occasion but also tend to be a homebody. I volunteer with community projects, and am especially interested in those involving children. I've never been married and don't have children, except my two cats and dog, but I don't mind if you do. I love children. I'm a former middle school teacher, but I recently had to leave teaching due to health issues and have now turned to freelance writing. I have a Master's degree and can hold an intellectual conversation any day of the week. However, I'm also a country girl at heart. I love animals and kids and can hold my own anywhere from a dirt track raceway to a neighbor's fishpond.Though I'm thoroughly modern and fairly liberal with regard to most things. I'm hopelessly old fashioned in my ideas about relationships. I believe insubmitting to my partner as head of household, and giving him both the power and the responsibility to protect and guide, including enforcing that through the practice of domestic discipline.I have cerebral palsy and use a wheelchair. It's the reality of my life, but it doesn't change the fact that I am an independent adult. I'm not embarrassed by it nor do I mind talking about it so if you want to know ask. There's no such thing as a stupid question.Go to a park or restaurant and just hang out and get to know each other.
