You know those days in the summer, when the sky turns too dark for the time of day and in the distance you can hear the sky rumble; and the hairs on your arm perk up in anticipation of the first flash of lightning? I love Thunder storms.Here's a little about me: My friends and my family are a big part of my life. I like to people watch. I kinda live in Melrose Place, no joke, pool and all. I love that my neighbourhood is somewhere between sketchy and cool. Mexican is my favourite type of food. My island condiment is mustard. I have a cat, we have staring contests. I typically eat healthy, but will still indulge in beer and wings after a game occasionally. I can be quite witty and/or sarcastic at times. My sense of humour ranges from Family Guy to Arrested Development.My music taste like most people is a wide range, but I'm not into House music. I can be found listening to the Indie88 or as a guilty pleasure, a country station. New music I'm into include Rural Alberta Advantage, The Head and the Heart, July Talk to name a few. I love to entertain, cooking and having friends over which usually includes a lot of wine. I also like to read (I work in publishing) and watch movies or TV, pop culture references usually can't get past me. I realize that makes it sound as if I never leave my house! I do, promise.I play volleyball once a week and beach in the summer. I also play ball hockey twice a week on coed teams - it's a great cardio work-out!
