Woman. 46 years old. Zodiac sign: Scorpio.
Looking for: man. In age: 36-56
A little about me, I am in the health care profession which I find extremely rewarding. I have a son who is 21 years old and is in college, and is a wonderful young man. For fun, I enjoy surrounding myself with wonderful friends and family that I am blessed with. As I do enjoy going out for an occasional drink, make no mistake you will not find me closing the bars down. I enjoy the outdoors, love to go up north, enjoy fishing and would love to find someone who enjoys the same. I do have a love for motorcycles and grew up with them all my life. However, this is not a deal breaker. I do keep myself fit and in shape. You can find me in the gym four days a week or walking my golden retriever an hour a day. As far as what I am looking for; a well-grounded, attractive, confident man who is humble and extremely down to earth. A fantastic sense of humor is a must! One last thing I am looking for someone with older children such as mine. I am looking to start the next chapter in my life, hopefully with someone on the same page.Maybe just meeting up for a drink at a corner bar, somewhere where we can get to know each other.

Hmmm... I suppose this is where I sell myself....Let's see. I'm a typical Gemini - including all characteristics good and bad. I enjoy long walks in the ghetto after sunset (yay, the Heights!). I prefer my steaks medium rare. The word most often used to describe me is: quirky. I was a Chem major, Anthro minor (yes, I accept the "nerd" title willingly). I dance all the time - badly. I don't karaoke, but I'll watch it for entertainment's sake! I love my job and what I do. Be warned, I'm a bit of a workaholic, but I also know how to take time out and enjoy life. I'm an active Monday night poker player (as long as it doesn't cost me more than $20!). About once every week/two weeks, my foodie friends and I go try a new cuisine/restaurant somewhere in town. My little brother is my best friend followed by a quirky ass FTM queer. I'm sooooo a country girl. I spend at least one or two weekends a month out on my parent's farm which can include anything from fishing to just sittin' on the back porch with my feet propped up on the banister watching the cows and the lovely sunset. A few interesting facts about me: - billiards player - gun shooter- dog owner x ***love Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central - sushi lover - poker player- avid reader - preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse- coupon cutter- anal retentive clean freak - in love with Michelle Rodriguez- dual citizenshipI want to know more people who color outside the lines and can't quite be described as anything but unique. Sense of humor and sensible shoes are a must. Smiles are attractive and so are long eyelashes. And it is an absolute MUST that you have viewed "The Princess Bride" at one point in your life, or you will be forced by me to endure two hours of the bestest movie ever. I'll even provide snacks.ADDENDUM A: I am not currently looking for a relationship. Or even dating, for that matter. I want to meet new people as friends and going-out buddies ***can never be surrounded by too many good friends. I'm still single but this does not necessarily mean that I'm scrambling to find someone to "complete me". I'm emotionally/mentally/fiscally stable so if you're down for having a rockin' new friend who loves to try new foods and enjoys road trips, hit me up.ADDENDUM B: Meh... Whatever happens, happens. :)ADDENDUM C: Cancellation of Addendum B.Hmmm.... describing a first date is a difficult question to answer. I suppose that's really dependent on the person, right? No one should ever have a standard cookie cutter mold for first dates. That's, well.... just boring, eh?First dates are about talking, listening and learning. Carnivals/fairs are good places. Museums and parks for the inner artist. Mini-golf, anyone?

I'm challenged by new adventures, things that I haven't experienced yet in life. Hopefully, I'll find a gentleman who will want to share his life--his experiences with me and share mine with him. I'm comfortable with my life but feel there is always room to grow and learn new things. I live a relatively quiet lifestyle and enjoy simple pleasures as well as appreciate the finer things in life, (not a bar hopper, dancing queen). I'm happy with this part of my life and look forward to the next. I am a very open communicator and hope for the same from my gentleman friend. I have a great sense of humor and find plenty of everyday things to laugh about. I value honesty, trust, and honor. I'm attracted to a man of confidence with positive self esteem. An easy to laugh, great sense of humor person. I prefer a man of strong character, but who doesn't need to show it or prove it to anyone. He is comfortable with himself and his masculinity. I like a man who is confident but not arrogant, who enjoys showing me the places and things he has experienced in his life that I have not. In this way, we gain common interests and enjoyment in life together. We don't always come together with our past experiences compatible, but we are living in the now and for the future. Let's grow with each other! We will enjoy time together as well as respecting the need for individual space. We won't always agree on everything (how boring) but will always respect each other's feelings and rights to individual opinions. I want to enjoy his company, and feel comfortable and secure in his presence.I enjoy spending some of my free time with family and good friends. I am a fairly independent person, but I also like to have someone to feel dependent on sometimes. I feel my life would be better balanced if I had a life-partner/ companion to share it with and I share in his. I could say that I love music of all kinds, movies, theater, travel, dining out, walks on the beach, fishing, sports, or you could just find out all these things and a whole lot more by asking me. I'm waiting for your hello...I enjoy just a simple cup of coffee at Starbucks or elsewhere casual where we can just sit and talk awhile. No pressure, no disappointments. Sometimes, dinner out is good idea if we've already had the "getting to know you" via telephone or *** quiet walk is also a relaxing way to get acquainted. I'm easy to please and agreeable to most anything.
