About Me

My marriage has been dissolved for over 17 years. I've had my fill of the dating scene and looking to find that one relationship in which to complete all the other positive areas of my life. I like to think of myself as a down to earth girl who enjoys life and always looking forward to what will happen next. I believe in fate and put my trust in God's hands that what ever happens, it's suppose to be. I am comfortable with who I am and would love to find a partner who can appreciate and respect that. After all, I do have 52 years of life experiences behind me. I so want to enjoy the next phase of my life with someone that shares the same outlook and basic interests as myself. I am old fashioned in much of my thinking and lifestyle. I believe in living life simply, while enjoying the finer things. I eat healthy and I would love it if you did to. If not, please be open to my sharing that with you. I'm more of a Fall/Winter person, but do enjoy the beach and boating as well. Visiting small, quaint towns and antiquing, (is that an actual word?), is something I enjoy very much. Goes hand in hand with my passion for older homes and my desire to one day live in a rehabbed farmhouse, (one can dream) I like to be around people that are drama free. Someone who is naturally funny, not forced or c oc ky. I like a man who has a strong sense of self and is, dependable, intelligent, quick witted, and has good hygiene (you'd be surprised). . Someone who can be AVAILABLE and spontaneous, workaholics need not apply. I want to travel, whether it be weekend trips antiquing,(there's that word again), bed & breakfasts or traveling to Europe. I do not expect to have a shadow, nor be one, for I feel having interests outside of one another make for a better relationship. I love stimulating conversations and healthy flirtation. I'd love to be able to learn from you, no matter how small or big & know that I can do the same for you. Although it comes down to chemistry in the end, we will know each other when we meet.I do enjoy football, very much, during the Fall and Winter months. Other than that, not a huge sports fan, and would rather be outside doing anything from walking with my dog to gardening and hiking. I would love to try kayaking! I'll update this once I have done it. *update* I did it!! May 30, ***. I loved it and plan to do it again. May even buy my own kayak!Someplace where we can talk and see if there is any chemistry.

HiThis is such an interesting way to meet people...it is catalog shopping. You choose the model that you want, place your order and then hope that it's in stock. If not, then search the pages for another model and keep doing so until you are either successful or give up in dismay. But, I'm optimistic, I am going to keep flipping through the pages, placing my order until .........And of couse I want to be successful, so here goes:Hobbies: walking, reading, movies, cooking, gardening, knit, listening to music, play way too much solitare on computerGoals/Aspirations: to travel, to make friends, to find my special someone or someone who finds me very special (hopefully this is the same person), to be a good and caring person, to continue to be active the rest of my life. Learn to fly cast, travel, to always be interested in everything. What makes me unique: I am the only version of me...happy, sad, optimistic, warm hearted, genuine, hard working, lazy, quiet, chatty, balanced, good cook, lover of all things beautiful, sensual, sexy, a procrastinator, lover of a good joke (will laugh at bad jokes), a daughter, a mom, a sister, a friend. Gentlemen: I am a well rounded woman. I can light the fire, bait the hook, cook the beans, set up the tent, clean the fish. What more are you looking for? Truck, camper and boat...sorry, don't have those. MMMMM, am I serious?? You will have to talk to me to find out. Music: eclectic taste, like to listen to anything and everything....not a huge fan of rap or heavy metal. Live music is always a preference if possible. Currently in cd players you will find Amy Sky, Righteous Brothers, Adele, Jesse Cook. I listen to music on cable....Galaxy is always good for classic country, old rock, jazz. There really should be more hair color options....grey can be many shades...I like silver much better.Did we ever think we would become Senior citizens.....that was/is our parents. The best part of getting older is discovering what is truly important. Not things or places.Thank you for reading, may our stay here be short and sweet.Dating Ads for Seniors ....You can say what you want about Florida , but you never hear of anyone retiring and moving north.
