Happy to walk my pet with a local dog owner.Ok, you can blame this update on the reading of 'He's Just Not That Into You' if you like; but here's what I want:1. A man who will show that he wants me.2. Someone who is an intellectual equal - but not much higher in intellectual capacity than me because I can be slightly resentful (a bit of E.Q. - emotional quotient - growth probably required of me there then); don't patronise me at Scrabble though because as a Piscean I will 'intune' that you rigged the game (and lose respect for you).3. Someone who is around my age, or SLIGHTLY younger. If you are thinking that the word 'cougar' is the way to go - think again; if you are thinking 'trophy woman'....ditto. If you want kids - too late! Unless you are altruistic and are considering the idea of fostering/adoption - then perhaps that could work....4. LOCAL / LOCALISH / PREPARED TO MOVE (AND I OFFER NO GUARANTEES).5. If you want to know what sort of person I am then familiarise yourself with Jane Austen's work (and yes, I am aware of the irony that she died alone). The salient points that I garnered from her work:a) How to write extended sentences using the more complex punctuation marks for controlling thoughtsb) Her incredible observations about the comic/tragic nature of human personalitiesc) Her idealism re: good people eventually reap the reward.....damn world has lead me off course regarding that one (but yeah, that's my fault)Other than that, hobbies = dancing to good music (probably looks embarassing at my age, but apparently I'm good at it, so if you are the sort who hates dancing, that's fine, because if you have no sense of rhythm then it's embarrassing for me to watch anyway!); stand up comedy (observational, non-sexist, non-racist stuff. Why isn't Werzel famous yet??!)6. No profile picture / not sharing backstage at the first contact? - be realistic - a woman either will or will not consider you - quit hiding and have the guts to share who you are. Ditto with expanding your profile description.7. P.S. To any I have met before – thanks for helping me (yep, it’s a slow process) grow. :)8. I'm not perfect, but am working on it. I'm hoping to find the person who is perfect FOR ME; and ME FOR HIM.On a first date, I turn up - that usually shocks them!Walk our dogs?Beach?Game of pool?
