What can I say about myself... I have a wide variety of interests and I love meeting new people and getting out to try something I've never done before. I'm a very social person and I am pretty good at getting people to come out of their shell. I am a huge music buff and a bit of a shoe freak (like most women I know). I bought a house in early ***so I'm enjoying being a homeowner, even though I get frustrated by the amount of things that I know nothing about fixing. I'm a Redwings fan and I like going out to concerts and other events around town. Whitecaps games are fun in the summer. Where else is it as acceptable to people watch, get a tan, and have a beer in the middle of the afternoon on a nice day? I never go anywhere without a smile and a cheerful attitude. It makes a difference in how I interact with people every day. Laughter and a good sense of humor are essential in life!I work very hard and I love my job, but working so much makes it a bit difficult to meet men that I would actually date. I want to spend my free time with friends and people I care about. I'm interested in meeting someone who truly wants to be a partner in a relationship and get to know me. I equally enjoy going out on the town or a quiet night in. It just depends on the company and my mood at the time. I love to cook. I write a cooking blog and recently started my own business on the side as well. I need to be with someone who respects my independence and understands that just because we don't spend ***together doesn't mean that I don't care.If you're into the whole game-playing scene, then I am not your gal. I am looking for someone who can be honest and straightforward in all aspects of life. Just say what you mean and mean what you say, guys :)A first date should be something where you can get to know each other, without it feeling like an interview. The whole dinner and a movie thing doesn't really work. Sitting in the dark with a stranger doesn't tell you much about them, after all. A good date would be something low-key where we could actually get to talk and find out about each other.
